Glorious Wisdom Essence, called the King of Kings of the Great Yogini Tantra. Glorious Wisdom Essence, called the King of Kings of the Great Yogini Tantra. In Sanskrit: Śrī Jñānagarbha nāma yoginī mahātantrarāja yatirāja. In Tibetan: Glorious Wisdom Essence, called the King of Kings of the Great Yogini Tantra. Homage to glorious Vajrasattva! Thus have I heard. At one time, the Bhagavan, on the summit of Mount Meru, surrounded by seventy-two million kotis of dakas and dakinis, dwelt in the great Bhaga pleasure garden. At that time, when the Bhagavan was sporting with the goddess Lekye Wangmo, the Lord's hair stood on end. At that time, the Bhagavan's mother, Lekye, arose from the union, circumambulated three times, bowed her head at his feet, and said: Alas, Bhagavan, why does your body have hairs standing on end? The Bhagavan said: Alas, Bhagavan Mother, what need is there for that? The reason why the hairs on my body stand on end is a great secret. The Bhagavan Mother said: Although it is a great secret, please, O Supreme Lord, speak. The Bhagavan said: I experience the bliss of Lekye, and because I am united with the joy-producing mothers who dwell above and below, my hairs stand on end. The Bhagavan Mother said: How do you unite with the joy-producing mothers who dwell above and below? The Bhagavan said: Why do you not know that which unites with the joy-producing mothers who dwell above and below? The Bhagavan Mother said: Bhagavan, it is so, it is so, but because I do not know, I ask before the Bhagavan. The Bhagavan said: This is something that each person experiences for themselves, but for your sake I will explain it. The network of channels, the nature of seventy-two million, from which the joy of separation arises, merely by trembling and shaking, the experience arises. Because the experience arises, the king of bindus

Please! From the King of Bindus, uniting with the joy-producing mothers residing above and below. Having heard this, she bowed her head at the feet of the Bhagavan, embraced him tightly, delighted him with the nectar drink of the mother's lips, and then asked again. O Bhagavan, since it is at the time of joy-separation that they unite in bliss, when is it that there is no union? The Bhagavan replied: The question is correct, it is supreme joy, difficult for the Buddhas to attain. There is no union at the time of joy-separation; that is not the joy of joy-separation. The Bhagavan-mother asked: O Bhagavan, what is the difference between the joy of joy-separation and joy-separation? The Bhagavan replied: Joyful one, why do you speak thus? There is a great difference between the joy of joy-separation and joy-separation, that I shall explain. Whatever is the joy of joy-separation is the abiding bindu, separated from change and so forth. Whatever is joy-separation is separated from joy, the bindu changes and decays. The joy of joy-separation is the abiding bindu, because it is separated from change and so forth, it is the nature of one's own experience. The Bhagavan-mother asked: What is the difference between the nature of one's own experience, the joy of joy-separation, and the joy of co-emergence? The Bhagavan replied: The joy of co-emergence is neither a thing, nor a non-thing, nor a secret, nor wisdom, nor arising from wisdom, nor existence, nor nirvana, nor rain, nor bindu, nor rule, nor merely a rule, nor supreme, nor other supreme, nor appearing, nor disappearing, nor form, nor sound, nor smell, nor taste, nor touch, nor letter, nor support, nor supported, nor element, nor wisdom, nor means, nor absorption, nor enjoyment, nor power, nor emanation, nor dharma, nor enjoyment, nor body, nor speech, nor mind, completely separated from all aspects, it is inexhaustible, immaculate, unborn, unceasing, eternally manifest.

The Bhagavati Mother asked: From what is such co-emergent joy obtained? The Bhagavan replied: It is obtained from experiencing the joy of separation from joy, not from meditation and so on. The Bhagavati Mother asked: Is that co-emergent joy the cause or the result of experiencing the joy of separation from joy? The Bhagavan replied: It is the cause of co-emergent joy, but not the result. The Bhagavati Mother asked: What kind of causal entity is needed for the arising of spontaneously accomplished co-emergent joy? Because it is without inherent nature. Just like smoke from burning. The Bhagavan replied: Saying that is not valid, for if there is no burning in the first place, from where does smoke arise? Such a kind is co-emergent. The Bhagavati Mother asked: If that is so, is the joy of separation from joy from co-emergence both cause and result? However, here the cause is divided into two, and the result is also divided into two, namely the illuminating cause and the producing cause. The result is also the same. The Bhagavati Mother asked: O Bhagavan, please explain what is the illuminating cause and what is the producing cause. The Bhagavan replied: The illuminating cause is the joy of separation from joy, just like a butter lamp. The producing cause is the supreme joy from joy, just like a sprout from a seed. The joy of separation from joy is not the producing cause because it is different from others, but it arises from joy that is different from other joys. The chapter called "The Meaning of Co-emergent Joy" from the Glorious Essence of Wisdom is the first chapter. The Bhagavati Mother asked: From the King of Tantras, the Glorious Great Seal Tilaka, in order to obtain the meaning of the Great Seal that is taught, for that purpose, please, Bhagavan, instruct me in that method. The Bhagavan replied: What do you ask of me? Listen, goddess, I will explain it thoroughly. The Great Seal is divided into four here: Karma Mudra, Samaya Mudra, Jnana Mudra, and.
