ཏེ། མཐོང་བ་འདིས་འཚལ་གྱིས་ཡ་གཅིག་ནི་མི་འཚལ་ལོ་ཞེས་གསོལ་ཏོ། །རྒྱལ་པོས་བསྒོ་བ། ཁོ་བོའི་མིག་གཉི་ག་ཁྱོད་ལ་སྦྱིན་པར་བྱས་པས་ཡ་གཅིག་བཞག་ན་སྔར་སྨྲས་པ་དང་འགལ་ལོ་ཞེས་བསྒོ་ནས། མིག་ཡ་གཅིག་ཀྱང་ཕྱུང་སྟེ། ལག་ཏུ་བླངས་ནས་སྨོན་ལམ་སྔར་བཞིན་དུ་བཏབ་བོ། །བྲམ་ཟེའི་མིག་ཏུ་བཅུག་ནས་བྲམ་ཟེའི་མིག་གཉི་གས་མཐོང་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་ན་གནམ་ས་ཀུན་གཡོས་སོ། །ལྷའི་ཕོ་བྲང་ཀུན་ཡང་འགུལ་ཞིང་ལྟེག་སྟེ། ལྷ་རྣམས་ངོ་མཚར་དུ་གྱུར་ནས་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱང་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་མིག་གི་སྦྱིན་པ་བྱས་པར་མཐོང་ནས། སྟེང་གི་ནམ་མཁའ་ལ་ལྷགས་ཏེ། ལྷ་རྫས་ཀྱི་མེ་ཏོག་དང་། སྤོས་ཀྱི་མཆོད་པ་བྱས་ནས། ལེགས་སོ་ལེགས་སོ་ཞེས་བསྟོད་དོ། །བརྒྱ་བྱིན་ཡང་ དེར་འོངས་ཏེ། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །འདི་ལྟར་ཤིན་ཏུ་སྤྱད་པ་དཀའ་བ་འདིས་རྣམ་པར་སྨིན་པའི་ལས་ཅི་ཞིག་འདོད། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་སྨྲས་པ་བདུད་ཀྱི་རྒྱལ་པོའམ། ཚངས་པའམ། བརྒྱ་བྱིན་ནམ། རྒྱལ་ཆེན་བཞིའམ། འཁོར་ལོས་སྒྱུར་བའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལ་སོགས་ཏེ། ཁམས་གསུམ་གྱི་བདེ་བ་འདོད་པ་མ་ཡིན་གྱིས། བསོད་ནམས་འདིས་མངོན་པར་བྱང་ཆུབ་ནས། སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་མྱ་ངན་ལས་འདས་པའི་བདེ་བ་ལ་འགོད་པའི་ཕྱིར་རོ། །བརྒྱ་བྱིན་གྱིས་སྨྲས་པ། འདི་ལྟར་མིག་ཕྱུང་བ་སྡུག་བསྔལ་བར་གྱུར་ན། འགྱོད་པའམ། ཁྲོ་བོའི་སེམས་མ་བྱུང་ངམ། རྒྱལ་པོས་སྨྲས་པ། འགྱོད་པ་ཡང་མེད་དོ། །ཁྲོ་བོའི་བག་ཀྱང་མེད་དོ། །བརྒྱ་བྱིན་གྱིས་སྨྲས་པ། བདག་གིས་བལྟས་ན་མིག་གཉིས་ནས་ཁྲག་གཟག་ཅིང་མདངས་ཀྱང་འགྱུར་བཞིན་དུ། འགྱོད་པ་མེད་ཅེས་བྱས་པ་ནི་ཡིད་ཆེས་པར་དཀའོ། །རྒྱལ་པོས་སྨྲས་པ། བདག་གི་མིག་སྦྱིན་པ་འདི་ལ་འགྱོད་པ་ཡང་མེད་ལ། བླ་ན་མེད་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཐོབ་པར་འགྱུར་ཞེ་ན་བདེན་པར་སྨྲ་བ་འདིས་བདག་གི་མིག་གཉིས་སྔོན་བཞིན་དུ་མཐོང་བར་གྱུར་ཅིག་ཅེས་སྨྲས་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་མིག་གཉིས་ཀྱང་སྔོན་བས་གསལ་བར་གྱུར་པས། དེའི་ཚེ་ན་ལྷ་དང་མི་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱང་རབ་ཏུ་དགའ་ཞིང་མགུ་རངས་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོས་བྲམ་ཟེ་ལ་བསྒོ་བ། ངས་མིག་སྦྱིན་པས་ཁྱོད་ཀྱང་མཐོང་བར་འགྱུར་གྱིས། ནམ་སངས་རྒྱས་ན་ཡང་ཁྱོད་ལ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་མིག་སྦྱིན་པར་བྱའོ། །རིན་པོ་ཆེ་འདི་དག་ཀྱང་ཁྱེར་ལ་ཕྱིར་སོང་ཤིག་ཅེས་བསྒོའོ། །བྲམ་ཟེ་མིག་དང་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ཐོབ་ནས་ཕྱིར་ཡུལ་དུ་ཕྱིན་པ་དང་། རྒྱལ་པོ་དེ་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་ཀྱང་བསུས་ནས་ཕྲད་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་མིག་ཐོབ་བ

于是，那位看见东西的人禀告说：“我不需要一只眼睛。”国王告诫说：“我已经把我的两只眼睛都布施给你了，如果留下一只，就违背了先前所说的话。”于是挖出另一只眼睛，拿在手中，像先前一样立下誓愿。放入婆罗门的眼中，婆罗门的两只眼睛都能看见东西了。那时，天地都震动了。诸神的宫殿也都摇动倾斜，诸神都感到惊奇，看到一切都是菩萨布施眼睛所致。于是降临到上方的天空中，用天界的鲜花和焚香供养，赞叹说：“好啊！好啊！”帝释天也来到那里，对菩萨这样说道：“像这样极其难行的苦行，希望成熟什么样的果报呢？”菩萨说道：“不是魔王，也不是梵天，也不是帝释天，也不是四大天王，也不是转轮圣王等等，不希望三界的安乐，而是希望用这福德现证菩提，为了安置一切众生于涅槃的安乐之中。”帝释天说道：“像这样挖出眼睛是痛苦的，难道没有后悔或者愤怒的心吗？”国王说道：“没有后悔，也没有愤怒的情绪。”帝释天说道：“我看到你的两只眼睛流着血，光彩也在变化，却说没有后悔，这难以置信。”国王说道：“我布施眼睛这件事没有后悔，如果能获得无上菩提，以这真实语，愿我的两只眼睛恢复如初。”刚说完，两只眼睛比以前更加明亮。那时，所有天人和人都非常高兴和满意。之后，国王告诫婆罗门说：“我布施眼睛，你也因此能看见东西了，将来我成佛的时候，也会布施你法眼。这些珍宝你也拿走，回去吧。”婆罗门得到眼睛和珍宝后回到了自己的国家，那位国王也前去迎接，刚一见面就恢复了眼睛。

Then, the one who could see things reported, "I do not need one eye." The king admonished, "I have already given both of my eyes to you. If I keep one, I would be contradicting what I said before." So he gouged out the other eye, held it in his hand, and made the same vow as before. He placed it in the Brahmin's eye, and the Brahmin's two eyes could see things. At that time, heaven and earth shook. All the palaces of the gods also trembled and tilted. The gods were amazed, seeing that everything was due to the Bodhisattva's donation of his eyes. So they descended to the sky above, made offerings of celestial flowers and incense, and praised, "Good! Good!" Indra also came there and said to the Bodhisattva, "What kind of ripening result do you desire from this extremely difficult practice?" The Bodhisattva said, "Not the king of demons, nor Brahma, nor Indra, nor the Four Great Kings, nor a Wheel-Turning King, etc. I do not desire the happiness of the three realms, but I hope to attain perfect enlightenment with this merit, in order to place all sentient beings in the bliss of Nirvana." Indra said, "Since gouging out your eyes is painful, did you not have any regret or anger?" The king said, "There is no regret, and no anger." Indra said, "I see blood flowing from your eyes and your complexion changing, yet you say you have no regret. This is hard to believe." The king said, "If it is true that I have no regret in giving my eyes, and that I will attain unsurpassed enlightenment, then by this true speech, may my two eyes be restored as before." As soon as he spoke, both eyes became clearer than before. At that time, all the gods and humans were very happy and satisfied. Then, the king admonished the Brahmin, "I have given you my eyes, and you can see things because of it. In the future, when I become a Buddha, I will also give you the Dharma eye. Take these jewels and go back." The Brahmin received the eyes and jewels and returned to his country, and the king himself went to greet him, and as soon as they met, he regained his eyes.

མ་ཞེས་དྲིས་སོ། །བྲམ་ཟེས་སྨྲས་པ། མིག་ཀྱང་ཐོབ་ནས་བདག་ཀྱང་འདི་ལྟར་མཐོང་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །རྒྱལ་པོས་སྨྲས་པ། འོ་ན་ཚེ་འཕོས་སམ་མ་འཕོས་སྨྲས་པ། ད་ལྟར་ལྷ་རྣམས་དེར་ལྷགས་ནས། སྨོན་ལམ་བཏབ་པས་མིག་གཉིས་སྔོན་བས་གསལ་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ། ། རྒྱལ་པོ་པ་ལ་ད་བར་ནེས་དེ་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་པ་ཐོས་ནས་འཁམས་ཏེ་སྙིང་གས་ནས། ཚེ་འཕོས་སོ། །ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་དེའི་ཚེ་དེའི་དུས་ན། རྒྱལ་པོ་སྤྱན་འབྱེད་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་དེ་ནི་ད་ལྟར་ང་ཡིན་ནོ། །པ་ལ་ད་བར་ནི་ལྷས་བྱིན་ཡིན་ནོ། །བྲམ་ཟེ་མིག་སློང་བ་དེ་ནི་ད་ལྟར་གྱི་བྲམ་ཟེ་ལོང་བ་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཐོབ་པ་འདི་ཡིན་ནོ། །སྔར་ཡང་མིག་བྱིན་ད་ལྟར་གྱི་བར་དུ་ཤེས་རབ་ཀྱི་མིག་བྱིན་ཏེ། ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཕྱིར་སྐྱེ་བ་ཐམས་ཅད་དུ་དཀའ་བ་སྤྱད་ནས། མངོན་པར་སངས་རྒྱས་སོ། །ཁྱོད་ཀྱང་འབྱུང་བའི་ལམ་ལ་བརྩོན་པར་གྱིས་ཤིག།བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དེ་སྐད་ཅེས་བཀའ་སྩལ་ནས། འཁོར་མང་པོ་རྣམས་ཁ་ཅིག་ནི་རྒྱུན་དུ་ཞུགས་པ་དང་། ལན་ཅིག་ཕྱིར་ལྡོག་པ་དང་། ཕྱིར་མི་ལྡོག་པ་དང་། དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཐོབ་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །ཁ་ཅིག་ནི་བླ་ན་མེད་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཏུ་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་དོ། །ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་དང་། འཁོར་མང་པོ་རྣམས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་གསུངས་པ་ལ་རྗེས་སུ་ཡི་རངས་ནས་མངོན་པར་དགའོ། །རྒྱལ་པོ་མིག་འབྱེད་ཀྱི་ལེའུ་སྟེ་སུམ་ཅུ་ལྔ་པའོ།། །། སུམ་ཅུ་ལྔ་པ། རྒྱལ་པོ་མིག་འབྱེད་ཀྱི་ལེའུ།

问道：“怎么样了？”婆罗门说：“眼睛也得到了，我也像这样看见了。”国王说：“那么寿命转移了吗？没有转移吗？”（婆罗门）说：“现在诸神降临到这里，发愿后，两只眼睛比以前更明亮了。” 国王波拉达瓦听到这样说后，昏倒了，心想：“寿命转移了。”阿难陀，那时，那时节，名叫国王施眼者就是现在的我。波拉达瓦是提婆达多。乞讨眼睛的婆罗门就是现在的盲人婆罗门，获得了阿罗汉果位。以前也施舍眼睛，直到现在也施舍智慧之眼。为了你，在一切生世中行持苦行，证得了圆满正觉。你也应当精进于未来的道路。世尊这样开示后，许多眷属中，有些人证得了入流果，有些证得了一来果，有些证得了不来果，有些证得了阿罗汉果位。有些人发起了无上菩提心。阿难陀和许多眷属对世尊所说的话语随喜赞叹，感到非常高兴。《国王施眼品》第三十五品完毕。 第三十五品，《国王施眼品》。

Asked, "How is it?" The Brahmin said, "The eyes have been obtained, and I have become like this, seeing." The king said, "Then has the life been transferred, or not transferred?" (The Brahmin) said, "Now the gods have come here, and after making prayers, both eyes have become clearer than before." King Paladava, having heard this, fainted and thought, "The life has been transferred." Ananda, at that time, at that time, the one called King Giving-Eyes is now me. Paladava is Devadatta. The Brahmin who begged for eyes is now the blind Brahmin who has attained the Arhat state. In the past, he also gave eyes, and until now, he has given the eye of wisdom. For your sake, in all lifetimes, he practiced austerities and attained perfect enlightenment. You should also strive on the path to the future. After the Blessed One spoke thus, among the many retinues, some attained the stream-entry fruit, some attained the once-returner fruit, some attained the non-returner fruit, and some attained the Arhat state. Some generated the unsurpassed Bodhicitta. Ananda and the many retinues rejoiced and were delighted at the words spoken by the Blessed One.
