The ninth verse. The ninth verse. The verse is: sons and mountain ravines, sacrificial offerings, strife and captives, garlands on top, pigs and wild men, flesh-eaters, and the head of the senses is the last. The so-called son is: When the Teacher was staying in Kosambi, at that time in Kosambi, there lived a Brahmin. He took a wife because of circumstances, and he played and rejoiced with her. Later, his wife became pregnant, and after nine or ten months, she gave birth to a handsome, pleasing, and beautiful boy. They held a grand birth ceremony for him and named him according to his caste, and nourished him with milk, yogurt, ghee, clarified butter, and ghee essence. Desires are like saltwater, the more you indulge in them, the more they increase. Later, the Brahmin gradually had one, two, and up to seven sons. They also named them according to their caste and nourished them with milk, yogurt, ghee, clarified butter, and ghee essence. When they grew up, they were taught letters, Brahmin conduct, behavior, as well as "Om" (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), "Bho" (藏文:བྷོ,梵文天城体:भो,梵文罗马拟音:bho,汉语字面意思:勃), cleanliness, rituals, taking ashes, holding pills, explanations of the Vedas, Vedic sacrifices, Vedic poetry, Vedic politics, performing sacrifices, having others perform sacrifices, giving, receiving, reciting, and teaching others how to recite, making them Brahmins proficient in six kinds of activities. Later, the Brahmin built houses for all his sons and divided all the wealth in the Brahmin's house among them. Later, the Brahmin's wife also died, and the Brahmin became old and blind. His sons drove him out of the house, and he had to beg for a living in other people's homes. The Buddha, the Bhagavan, is the teacher of the one and only path, proficient in two kinds of knowledge and wisdom, proficient in three unmixed mindfulness establishments, fearless with four kinds of fearlessness, benefiting beings.

Liberated from the five realms of existence. Skilled in the six sense bases. Whose sphere of activity is the seven branches of enlightenment. Meditating on the eight liberations. Entering into the nine successive meditative stabilizations. Possessing the power of the ten strengths. Those who proclaim the great, true lion's roar, by their very nature, in three periods of the day and three periods of the night, thus in six periods of day and night, with the Buddha's eye, they gaze upon the world: Who is declining? Who is prospering? Who is living in poverty? Who has become miserable? Who is afflicted with harm? Who is impoverished, miserable, and afflicted with harm? Who is inclined towards the lower realms? Who is falling into the lower realms? Who has fallen into the lower realms? Who shall I rescue from the lower realms and establish in the higher realms, liberation, and fruition? Who, sinking in the mire of misconduct, shall I draw out by the hand? Who, lacking the seven noble riches, shall I empower to wield the dominion of the seven noble riches? Who has not generated roots of virtue, shall I cause to generate them? Who has already generated roots of virtue, shall I cause to fully ripen them? Who has fully ripened roots of virtue, shall I pierce through with the weapon of wisdom? For whom shall there be the fruit of a world adorned by the appearance of a Buddha? Thus, the vision of wisdom arises. The ocean is the abode of aquatic creatures, the waves of time may recede, but for the sons to be tamed, the Buddha never misses the opportune moment. Then, the Bhagavan, thinking that the time had come to tame that son of good family, in the early morning, donned his Dharma robes and lower garment, took his alms bowl, and went to Shravasti for alms. As the Bhagavan went to Shravasti, he saw a Brahmin, old and decrepit, carrying a water pot and a vessel, begging at the houses of others. Having seen him, he spoke to the Brahmin: Brahmin, old and decrepit, why do you carry a water pot and a vessel, begging at the houses of others? The Brahmin replied: Alas, Gautama, I have seven sons, I have nourished them, raised them, and brought them to the completion of their learning, and then established them in their own homes. Having sewn their breastplates, all the possessions in my house
