The Sutra Showing the Qualities Cultivated on the Path of Liberation. The Sutra Showing the Qualities Cultivated on the Path of Liberation. In Indian language: Vimu gatamaraga dhuta gucha nirdesha nama. In Tibetan language: Called Showing the Qualities Cultivated on the Path of Liberation. Homage to Manjushri, the youthful one. Thereafter, the yogi who thus has pure morality, wishing to accomplish the practice, with the aim of qualities, should truly take up and enter into the qualities cultivated. Truly taking up the qualities cultivated by the practice of yoga is, in many ways, being content with little, being content, expanding the restraint of resources, initiating diligence, being easy to satisfy, abiding in wisdom, and thoroughly cutting off all attachments. This is well-guarding morality, the gathering of samadhi, the appearance of noble lineage, and also appearing in the excellence of qualities. Among them, the thirteen qualities cultivated have two with clothing: wearing rag robes and having three dharma robes. There are five with food: begging for alms, begging in order, eating one meal, knowing the amount of food, and not taking more food after eating. There are five with dwelling: living in the wilderness, living under a tree, living without cover, living in a cemetery, and living wherever it is. There is one with diligence: constantly sitting. Among them, the nature of the limb of wearing rag robes is wearing rag robes. The meaning of the remaining words should also be spoken in the same way. Among them, wearing rag robes is abandoning the clothes of a householder. Having three dharma robes is abandoning the fourth robe. Begging for alms is abandoning eating by invitation. Begging in order is abandoning eating in a disorderly way. Eating one meal is abandoning sitting down again to eat. Knowing the amount of food is abandoning eating too much. Not taking more food after eating is abandoning eating more than necessary. Living in the wilderness is abandoning living on the edge of a village. Living under a tree is abandoning living covered.
