Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! Thus have I heard: At one time, the Blessed One was dwelling on Vulture Peak Mountain in Rajagriha, together with a sangha of one thousand two hundred and fifty bhikshus, and many thousands of Bodhisattva-Mahāsattvas. At that time, in that very assembly, the Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva, the young Licchavi of the vast realm, Ornament Jewel Lotus Blossom, had gathered and was sitting. Then, the Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva, Ornament Jewel Lotus Blossom, arose from his seat, draped his upper robe over one shoulder, knelt on his right knee, and, with his palms joined together, bowed down in the direction of the Blessed One and said to the Blessed One: If by making a request we can please the Blessed One, then I will ask the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened One, some questions. Virtue Jewel Flower Blossom, you have come here like this, for the sake of the benefit, welfare, happiness, and compassion for the world of the Bodhisattvas, the great beings, the gods, humans, and many beings. Please enter, in order to ask the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha about this matter, Virtue Jewel Flower Blossom, you are also auspicious! Virtue Jewel Flower Blossom, therefore, listen well and carefully, and keep it in mind, and I will tell you. "World Honored One, thus I know." After making this request, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Virtue Jewel Flower Blossom listened to the World Honored One, and the World Honored One spoke these words: Virtue Jewel Flower Blossom, in the eastern direction there is a world called "Virtue All Pure", and there the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha, named "Virtue Kalpa Incalculable Beyond", now dwells, lives, resides, and also teaches the Dharma. That kalpa is called "All Near Gathering and Accumulation". The lifespan of sentient beings there is also immeasurable. World Honored One, all the retinue of Virtue Kalpa Incalculable Beyond have completely entered the Mahayana. A son or daughter of good family, if they hold the name of the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha, named "Virtue Kalpa Incalculable Beyond", they will turn their backs on sixty thousand kalpas of samsara. After death, they will also obtain the dharani called "Unobstructed". The Buddhas, the World Honored Ones, of ten billion Buddha-fields will also truly generate fearlessness. They will not be arrogant when teaching the Dharma. To this, it should be said: Whoever holds the name of the protector, they will easily obtain supreme Bodhi, and other virtues of the Sugata, these stainless virtues will also be obtained by people. Virtue Jewel Flower Blossom, in the southern direction there is a world called "Virtue Jewel Adornment".
