The Great Vehicle Sutra of Noble Conduct, the Patience of Subduing with the Color of the Sky, Chapter Six. The Great Vehicle Sutra of Noble Conduct, the Patience of Subduing with the Color of the Sky, Chapter Six. Son of good family, furthermore, the Bodhisattva should also properly examine the aggregate of feeling. What is the aggregate of feeling? It is the six groups of feeling, namely, the feeling born from the contact of the eye's combination, and the feeling born from the contact of the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind's combination. These are called the aggregate of feeling. In that aggregate of feeling, it should be known that there are three kinds of feeling. What are the three? They are pleasant feeling, painful feeling, and neither pleasant nor painful feeling. These three are called the aggregate of feeling. Son of good family, the Bodhisattva should properly examine the aggregate of feeling with these eight aspects. What are the eight? Son of good family, the three roots of affliction are desire, hatred, and ignorance. With these three roots of affliction, sentient beings who are afflicted will not be free from desire, and will not attain the exhaustion of outflows. These three roots of affliction enter into the three kinds of feeling, and from this, affliction transforms into different aspects. Therefore, with the six groups of feeling, properly examine the three kinds of feeling. With the three kinds of feeling, properly examine the arising of the root of affliction, and the perishing of the root of karma and the root of exhaustion. When the characteristic of form appears to the eye as inferior, pleasant, large, subtle, near, or far, feeling arises there. If one sees any form as pleasant, large, subtle, far, or near, feeling arises there, like a bubble in water in a place of craving, and the arising of manifest joy, one should also properly examine. In any case, from the emptiness of the eye to the eye, up to what was said before, it is sudden, non-body, without location, without form, un-demonstrable, without substance, and without letters.

Feelings arise like bubbles in water. Attachment arises, completely obscuring. One does not understand beggars, laughers, wanderers, etc. The nature of arising has no owner, Cessation also has no owner, And the nature of feeling has no owner. For all these dharmas without nature, There is also no life, Separated from life, No sentient being, Separated from sentient beings, No nourishment, Separated from nourishment, No person, Separated from person, No desire, No thing, No nature, No owner, The nature is destroyed, The suffering of exhausted actions, things do not exist, With the boundary of separation from the three times' attachment, it empties them. Unspeakable, with the boundary of attachment, it empties them. Non-dual, with the boundary of attachment, it empties them. Uninterrupted, with the boundary of attachment, it empties them. Impermanent, with the boundary of attachment, it empties them. Signless, with the boundary of attachment, it empties them. Wishless, with the boundary of attachment, It empties them. Without feeling, with the boundary of attachment, it empties them. Without the form of a doer, with the boundary of attachment, it empties them. Without knowledge, with the boundary of attachment, it empties them. Without taking, with the boundary of attachment, it empties them. Without liberation, with the boundary of attachment, it empties them. Without things, with the boundary of attachment, it empties them. Without darkness, with the boundary of attachment, it empties them. Without appearance, with the boundary of attachment, it empties them. The objects of the three times' attachment are completely etc. Dwelling or causing to act, etc., is not truly seen. The mind is like an illusion, and one does not discriminate that the objects and non-objects of the three times' attachment are completely cut off. Knowing things as they are, there is no attachment to anything. Not relying on everything, not dwelling, without taking, without moving, one does not make duality. All dharmas are truly in the realm of dharma.
