May plagues, astral disturbances, diseases, famines, both armies, untimely winds, and all kinds of rain be completely pacified. The command was given: Furthermore, from the house or dwelling to the country, wherever this great prophecy, the Essence of the Sun, is written, to that country, Indra, Brahma, the Four Great Kings, and the twenty-eight Yaksha chiefs with their retinues, as well as the great goddess Shri, the great goddess Saraswati, the earth goddess Dhṛti, and the medicine goddess Siddhi with their retinues, will always, continuously, day and night, protect from the house or dwelling to that country. They will completely guard it. At that time, Indra and Brahma, from Brahma to the medicine goddess Siddhi, with their retinues, also said this: Venerable Bhagavan, we will do as you say, from "furthermore" to the end. Wherever from "house" to "country" is mentioned, there, having paid homage to many Buddhas, those renowned for great power, those renowned for great power, those perfect in generosity, discipline, and true vows will take birth. Furthermore, in that house, beings will not be attached to the five objects of desire and will always strive for the perfection of generosity. Furthermore, those who are vessels, those places of giving, will themselves be manifestly delighted. Furthermore, there, always and continuously, the rain of various flavors of Dharma will spread. Furthermore, there, beings will always strive to perfectly take up the path of the ten virtuous actions. Furthermore, there, beings will always be endowed with a loving heart, a compassionate heart, and a heart free from desire. 从我名为“我”之处，到名为“国境”之处，为了供养我，将此伟大的《日之精要预言》书写下来，并且反复诵读，从名为“家”之处到名为“国境”之处，那些利益将会产生。对于那些念诵者，以及对那些法真正显现者，以及以法的住处而安住者，还用说什么呢？那功德的聚积，我即使经过百劫也难以示现，这手行之主《日之精要预言》是如此深奥啊！这《日之精要预言》是如此功德广大啊！是如此利益广大啊！世尊如是宣说之后，从十方一切佛刹涌来的菩萨摩诃萨们，以及魔、天、龙、夜叉、罗刹、阿修罗、迦楼罗、乾闼婆、紧那罗、大腹行、瓮形鬼、饿鬼、食肉鬼、恶鬼、人、非人，他们皆心生欢喜，极其喜悦，生起欢喜和适悦，对世尊所说之语表示赞叹。 《圣大集经大乘经》中《日之精要品》第十二品圆满。 《圣极广大部类日之精要》之经圆满。 印度堪布萨瓦吉那提婆（Sarvajñādeva）、毗迦罗婆（Vikaraprabha）、达摩迦罗（Dharmākara）和译师班德善护（bān dé bzang skyong）所译。校正的译师班德贝则（bān dé dpal brtsegs）校订并确定。 第十二，名为教诫之品。

From the place called "I" to the place called "Country," for the purpose of offering to me, this great prophecy of the Essence of the Sun is written down, and repeatedly recited, from the place called "Home" to the place called "Country," those benefits will arise. What need is there to say about those who recite it, and those to whom those dharmas truly appear, and those who abide by the abode of the dharma? That accumulation of merit, even after hundreds of kalpas, is not easy for me to show, this great prophecy of the Essence of the Sun, the lord of hand-goers, is so profound! This great prophecy of the Essence of the Sun is so great in virtue! It is so great in benefit! After the Bhagavan spoke thus, those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who came from all the Buddha-fields of the ten directions, and the Maras, Devas, Nagas, Yakshas, Rakshasas, Asuras, Garudas, Gandharvas, Kinnaras, Mahoragas, Kumbhandas, Pretas, Flesh-eaters, Goblins, Humans, and Non-humans, were pleased and rejoiced greatly, and having generated joy and delight, they praised what the Bhagavan had spoken. The twelfth chapter, the Essence of the Sun, from the Sutra of the Great Collection of the Great Vehicle, is complete.
