It is filled with the intervals of gaga, strings of jewels, incense, umbrellas, victory banners, streamers, silk sewn items, Dharma robes, and various ornaments. Whoever contemplates the fourth excellent boundary, remembering the Buddha, cultivates it very much, mixes it very much, and contemplates it very much, all such immeasurable karma will be purified. Thus, merit, strength, diligence, samadhi, dharani, patience, various plays, and supernormal powers will become immeasurable. By thus perfecting whatever is done, one will quickly be liberated from samsara, except for those who commit the five inexpiable sins, abandon the sacred Dharma, and slander the noble ones. Even so, those who commit the five inexpiable sins, abandon the sacred Dharma, and slander the noble ones, if they cultivate the fourth excellent boundary contemplation of remembering the Buddha for seven weeks as taught here, after those seven weeks have passed, one-third of the karmic obscurations will be eliminated, and the remainder will be completely purified without any damage. Cultivating the fourth excellent boundary contemplation of remembering the Buddha, like that, is so meaningful. Whoever merely hears the fourth excellent boundary contemplation of remembering the Buddha, just hearing it in their ear, after closely examining the obstacles between humans and non-humans, faith, joy, and extreme joy will arise in them. They will be completely liberated from the strong bonds of prison. All sentient beings who are suffering will also be completely liberated from suffering. From the suffering of enjoyment, punishment, beatings, cliffs, fire, water, poison, all enemies, all spirits, the fear of disease, the fear of places, the fear of kings, up to the fear of slaves, and the fear of going to bad destinies, one will be completely liberated. It will become the cause of going to good destinies. Whoever remembers the Buddha in that way

Merely hearing its name will give rise to faith upon close examination. Since this Dharma is of great significance and benefit, there is no need to mention the importance of practicing it as taught. When this Dharma category was taught, eighty-six kotis of hundreds of thousands of trillions of people who had previously purified themselves attained the samadhi of mindfulness of the Buddha. As previously mentioned, they also possessed those qualities. At that time, eighty-four kotis of trillions of sentient beings attained the forbearance of knowing the Dharma in suffering. At that time, some of the immeasurable sentient beings abided in the yoga of gradual abiding in equipoise and the first fruit. Some even attained the state of Arhatship. At that time, immeasurable sentient beings generated the mind of enlightenment, which had not been previously generated, for unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. The five hundred daughters of Mara, led by the Immaculate One, also remained in the realm of Mara through the power of the Buddha, and heard all the prophecies of mindfulness of the Buddha, which purifies the mind. After hearing this, their female forms disappeared, and they attained male bodies. All those who had previously purified themselves attained the samadhi of mindfulness of the Buddha. As previously mentioned, they also possessed those qualities. They all manifested themselves as the forms of Great Brahmas, and each Great Brahma was surrounded and gazed upon by countless hundreds of thousands of trillions of beings. Countless hundreds of thousands of trillions of beings surrounded them with musical instruments and cymbals, and they descended from the inconceivable realm of Mara to the presence of the Bhagavan. They scattered and strewed divine flowers, garlands, incense, unguents, umbrellas, victory banners, flags, precious silk cloths, and various Dharma robes upon the Bhagavan.
