The Noble Great Vehicle Sutra called "The Accomplishment of the Four Principles". The Noble Great Vehicle Sutra called "The Accomplishment of the Four Principles". In Indian language: Ārya catuṣka nira hāra nāma mahāyāna sūtra. In Tibetan language: The Noble Great Vehicle Sutra called "The Accomplishment of the Four Principles". Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! Thus I have heard, at one time, the Blessed One was in Shravasti, in the Jeta Grove, Anathapindika's Garden. Together with a great Sangha of five hundred monks, and all the hundreds of thousands of Bodhisattvas who were fully armed, and the sons of gods who dwell in the desire realm and the form realm. Then, the Blessed One, surrounded by hundreds of thousands of retinues and gazed upon, taught the Dharma. Then, the youth Manjushri, for the purpose of offering to the Blessed One, held a jeweled umbrella of about ten yojanas in size and held it on the crown of the Blessed One's head. Then, in that assembly, the son of the gods of the Tushita heaven, named Palbzangden, together with attendants who do not turn back from the Unsurpassed Perfect Enlightenment, gathered in that assembly, and sitting there, rose from his seat, draped his robe over one shoulder, knelt on his right knee, and bowed with folded palms towards where the youth Manjushri was, and said to the youth Manjushri: Manjushri, are you still not satisfied with performing the act of offering to the Tathagata? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, what do you think? Does the great ocean ever know enough by taking all the water? The son of the gods said: Manjushri, that is not so. Manjushri said: Son of the gods, likewise, one should seek the immeasurable and infinite wisdom of the all-knowing, like the great ocean whose depths are difficult to fathom. A Bodhisattva should never be satisfied with the act of offering to the Tathagata. The son of the gods said: Manjushri, with what aim does a Bodhisattva make offerings to the Tathagata? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, a Bodhisattva makes offerings to the Tathagata with four aims.

One should take a vow. What are the four? Namely, focusing on the Omniscient Wisdom itself, focusing on thoroughly liberating all sentient beings, focusing on not cutting off the lineage of the Three Jewels, and focusing on fully embracing the qualities and arrangements of the Buddha's field. Son of the gods, Bodhisattvas should make offerings to the Tathagata with these four focuses. The son of the gods said: Manjushri, you have explained to the Brahma-crested son of the gods among the Brahma retinue the four practices of the Bodhisattva path. Manjushri, please explain it well. I and all the retinue who are complete also wish to hear it. Manjushri, Bodhisattvas do not have stinginess of Dharma, nor do they conceal the teacher's Dharma texts. Manjushri said: Son of the gods, therefore listen well and keep it in mind, and I will explain to you these four practices. Son of the gods, these four should be understood as the Bodhisattvas' minds of higher intention. What are the four? Son of the gods, here, Bodhisattvas generate the mind for the sake of gathering immeasurable sentient beings, generate the mind for the sake of fully maturing immeasurable sentient beings, generate the mind for the sake of accumulating immeasurable roots of virtue, and generate the mind for the sake of manifestly realizing immeasurable Buddha-dharmas. Son of the gods, these four should be understood as the Bodhisattva's minds of higher intention. Son of the gods, these four are the Bodhisattvas' minds like a rock. What are the four? A mind without anger towards beggars, a mind of compassion towards those who have gone astray, a mind that does not degenerate from wisdom, and a mind that causes activities to fall into decline. Son of the gods, these four are the Bodhisattvas' minds like a rock. Son of the gods, these four are the Bodhisattvas' superior minds. What are the four? Superior morality, superior learning,

Great loving-kindness is manifestly superior, and great compassion is manifestly superior; these are the four. These four sons of the gods are the Bodhisattvas' generation of the mind, which is firm, has essence, is indivisible, and is like a vajra. What are the four? They are indivisible from intention, indivisible from friendship, indivisible from diligence, and indivisible from the Great Vehicle; these are the four. These four sons of the gods are the Bodhisattvas' generation of the mind, which is difficult to approach. What are the four? They are unmixed with afflictions, unmixed with gain, respect, and all verses, unmixed with the inferior vehicle, and unmixed with all unvirtuous beings; these are the four. These four sons of the gods are the Bodhisattvas' generation of the mind, which is unsurpassed. What are the four? They are the mind that completely gives away all impoverished things, the mind that has no regret after giving, the mind that has no hope for ripening, and the mind that completely dedicates to enlightenment; these are the four. These four sons of the gods are the Dharma that has reached the peak of the Bodhisattvas. What are the four? They are the Perfection of Wisdom, skillful means, upholding the sacred Dharma, and maturing sentient beings; these are the four. These four sons of the gods are the ones who guide the Bodhisattvas on the path to enlightenment. What are the four? They are diligence in the perfections, conforming to the objects of gathering, cultivating the divine abodes, and frolicking with clairvoyance; these are the four. These four sons of the gods are the excellent and supreme Dharma, the most noble, of the Bodhisattvas. What are the four? They are having no anger towards all sentient beings, and generating the mind to liberate even those who act contrary to them, being mindful even when obtaining a vast territory, and practicing the Dharma even when impoverished by poverty; these are the four. These four sons of the gods are the aspirations of the Bodhisattvas. What are the four? If one becomes a householder,
