The Noble Sutra of the Great Vehicle named "The Wheel of Non-Regression". The Noble Sutra of the Great Vehicle named "The Wheel of Non-Regression". In Sanskrit: Arya Vaivarta Chakra Nama Mahayana Sutra. In Tibetan: The Noble Sutra of the Great Vehicle named "The Wheel of Non-Regression". Volume 1. Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! Thus have I heard. At one time, the Blessed One was dwelling in Shravasti, in the Jeta Grove, Anathapindika's Garden, together with a great community of monks. Then, the Blessed One, in the latter part of the night, entered into the samadhi called "Immaculate Light". Manjushri, the youth, entered into the samadhi called "Universally Illuminating". The Bodhisattva Mahasattva Maitreya entered into the samadhi called "Universally Bright". Then, the venerable Shariputra, in the latter part of the night or at dawn, emerged from his dwelling and went to where the dwelling of Manjushri, the youth, was. Then, the venerable Shariputra, thinking of entering the dwelling of Manjushri, the youth, saw a thousand lotuses arising from the vicinity of the Blessed One's dwelling, and also heard a great sound of singing. He also saw light emanating from those lotuses. He also saw that light illuminating the entirety of the Jeta Grove. He also saw it illuminating the entirety of the great city of Shravasti, and also illuminating the entirety of the three-thousand great-thousand world system. Then, the venerable Shariputra, thinking of not entering the dwelling of Manjushri, the youth, found himself already entered, and knew that he was in the presence of Manjushri, the youth. He saw Manjushri, the youth, sitting in the lotus posture. Having seen this, even shaking his rosary, he did not rise. Then, even making a coughing sound, he did not rise, for he saw the miraculous power of Manjushri, the youth, and thought to himself that he was dwelling in the great ocean, with Manjushri, the youth, sitting in the lotus posture, together with the dwelling.

Then, he saw him going towards the east. Then, the venerable Shariputra sat in the lotus position in front of Manjushri, who had become a youth, and gazed at Manjushri without blinking. He saw Manjushri, who had become a youth, surpassing world systems as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River in the east, and arriving at a world system called the 'Sphere of Non-Retrogression.' Then, he saw the Tathagata called 'The Body Covered with Rays of Light, the Lotus in Full Bloom,' and he saw lotuses emerging from the pores of that Tathagata, and those lotuses covered a hundred thousand yojanas. He also saw that those lotuses were very bloomed and had a thousand petals. He also saw that on the heart of those lotuses, bodhisattvas with the thirty-two marks, whose body color was like the color of gold, were seated. Within one of those great lotuses, the Bhagavan appeared and became empty, and Manjushri, who had become a youth, sat on that great lotus, and together with that great lotus, he manifestly rose into the sky. Having manifestly risen, he circumambulated the Bhagavan three times, prostrated with his head at the feet of the Bhagavan, and then sat in the lotus position on that very great lotus. Then, the Tathagata, the Body Covered with Rays of Light, the Lotus in Full Bloom, knowingly spoke these words to Manjushri, who had become a youth: 'Manjushri, who has become a youth, where have you come from just now?' After he spoke those words, Manjushri, who had become a youth, spoke these words to the Tathagata, the Body Covered with Rays of Light, the Lotus in Full Bloom: 'Bhagavan, I have come from the Saha world.' Then, that attendant bodhisattva of the Bhagavan, named Melodious Sound, rose from that lotus seat, draped his upper robe over one shoulder, prostrated with his head at the feet of the Bhagavan, placed the kneecap of his right knee on the heart of the lotus, folded his palms in supplication towards the Bhagavan, and spoke these words to the Bhagavan: 'Bhagavan, how long has it been since the Saha world?'

I prostrate. After this request, the Tathagata, with a body of fully bloomed lotus covered in light, spoke to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Melodious Sound, saying: "Son of good family, from this world to the west, beyond worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River..." He asked: "Bhagavan, in that world, which Bhagavan teaches the Dharma?" The Bhagavan replied: "It is the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha Shakyamuni." He asked: "Bhagavan, what kind of Dharma teacher is he?" He replied: "He bases his teachings on the three vehicles." He asked: "Bhagavan, what are those three vehicles?" He replied: "The Hearer Vehicle, the Solitary Buddha Vehicle, and the Great Vehicle. Based on these three vehicles, the Bhagavan, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Samyaksambuddha Shakyamuni teaches the Dharma." He asked: "Bhagavan, aren't the teachings of all the Buddhas and Bhagavans consistent?" He replied: "Son of good family, the teachings of the Buddhas and Bhagavans are consistent." He asked: "To what extent are the teachings of the Buddhas and Bhagavans consistent?" He replied: "The teachings of the Buddhas and Bhagavans are consistent in the irreversible wheel of Dharma." He asked: "Bhagavan, how does the Bhagavan teach the Dharma in this way, based on the three vehicles?" He replied: "Son of good family, those beings are inclined towards the inferior, and they cannot enter the One Vehicle. Therefore, with skillful means, he guides them in that way. Son of good family, the Buddhas and Bhagavans possess great skillful means. The Bhagavan appears in the age of the five degenerations, and those beings are not inclined towards the One Vehicle." He asked: "Bhagavan, is teaching the Dharma there so difficult?" He replied: "Son of good family, it is so." He asked: "Bhagavan, I was not born there, so I have obtained a great benefit!" He replied: "Son of good family, do not say that!" He asked: "Bhagavan, why?" He replied: "Son of good family, if someone here lives for twenty thousand
