།བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཚིག་འདི་ལེགས་པར་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ལེགས་སོ་ལེགས་སོ། །གང་དག་ལྷ་མོ་ཆེན་མོ་དཔལ་གྱི་མིང་རྣམས་འཛིན་པ་དང་། ཐོས་ནས་ཉམས་སུ་ལེན་པ་གང་ལགས་པ་དེ་དག་གི་ཡོན་ཏན་དང་ཕན་ཡོན་ནི་དེ་དག་ཏུ་འགྱུར་ལགས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་སེམས་དཔའ་ཆེན་པོ་འཕགས་པ་སྤྱན་རས་གཟིགས་དབང་ཕྱུག་གིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་གསོལ་ཏོ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལྷ་མོ་ཆེན་མོ་དཔལ་གྱིས་དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བ་གང་དུ་བསྐྱེད་ལགས། There. Praised and extolled by Indra and Brahma and all the protectors of the world, the great goddess looks upon the glorious one. The great Brahma's words are, to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Avalokiteśvara, he spoke thus: Avalokiteśvara, whether king or minister, whether monk or nun, whether male or female lay practitioner, whether Brahmin or of the royal lineage, or of the commoner lineage, or of the lower caste, whoever holds this praise called "The Immaculate Hundred and Eight Names of the Great Goddess Śrī," then the land of that king of the royal lineage and the fears of those beings, and the plague of disease, and all harms will be pacified, and all fears of thieves and the deceitful, and of humans and non-humans will not occur, and wealth and grain and treasuries and granaries will all increase. In the home of that king of the royal lineage, Śrī will surely dwell. Then, those Bodhisattva Mahasattvas spoke these words: Blessed One, these words you have spoken are excellent, excellent! Those who hold the names of the great goddess Śrī, and having heard them, practice them, their merits and benefits will become those. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, the noble Avalokiteśvara, said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, where did the great goddess Śrī plant the roots of virtue? The Blessed One said: The great goddess Śrī planted the roots of virtue in as many places as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River. Avalokiteśvara, in the past, in a world called Born of Jewels, the Tathagata Jewel Flower Ocean of Qualities, lapis lazuli and golden mountain, beautiful in color, named Golden Light Śrī Tathagata appeared in the world. The great goddess Śrī also planted the roots of virtue to that one and many other Tathagatas.
