第八，法之门品。 第八，法之门品。 第六卷，此后，菩萨慧海向薄伽梵如此请示道：世尊，譬如说，为了享受天与人的圆满，以及为了获得无上的涅槃圆满，大乘对一切有情众生所作的利益是多么的稀有啊！世尊，哪些是能够摄集大乘的法？哪些是对于大乘加以珍爱的法？哪些是对于大乘勤苦修持的法？哪些是能够开示大乘的法？世尊，哪些是会成为大乘障碍的法？世尊，因为什么缘故称大乘为大乘？如此请示之后，薄伽梵对菩萨慧海如此说道：慧海，因此谛听，我将宣说。慧海，有一种法能够摄集大乘，这一个法是什么呢？譬如说，不忘失菩提心且谨慎，慧海，这就是能够摄集大乘的一种法。慧海，还有一种法能够摄集大乘，这一个法是什么呢？譬如说，投入于事业且信赖异熟果报。还有一种法，譬如说，不违背教法的正确的见解。还有一种法，即消除好恶，对一切有情生起平等心。还有一种法，即具有救护一切的大慈。还有一种法，即不贪著自身安乐的大悲。还有一种法，即渴求佛陀色身的念佛。还有一种法，即以修法为心要的念法。还有一种法，即具有不退转的僧众的念僧。还有一种法，即一切烦恼

Eighth, Chapter on the Door of Dharma. Eighth, Chapter on the Door of Dharma. Volume Six. Then, the Bodhisattva Ocean of Wisdom said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, it is wonderful how much the Great Vehicle benefits all sentient beings in order to experience the perfections of gods and humans, and to attain the unsurpassed perfection of Nirvana! Blessed One, what are the dharmas that gather the Great Vehicle? What are the dharmas that cherish the Great Vehicle? What are the dharmas that make effort for the Great Vehicle? What are the dharmas that reveal the Great Vehicle? Blessed One, what are the dharmas that become obstacles to the Great Vehicle? Blessed One, why is the Great Vehicle called the Great Vehicle?" After he said this, the Blessed One said to the Bodhisattva Ocean of Wisdom: "Ocean of Wisdom, therefore listen and I will teach. Ocean of Wisdom, there is one dharma that gathers the Great Vehicle. What is that one dharma? It is not forgetting the mind of enlightenment and being mindful. Ocean of Wisdom, this is one dharma that gathers the Great Vehicle. Ocean of Wisdom, there is another dharma that gathers the Great Vehicle. What is that one dharma? It is engaging in activities and trusting in the ripening of karma. There is also one dharma, which is the correct view that does not contradict the teachings. There is also one dharma, which is to eliminate like and dislike and to have equanimity towards all sentient beings. There is also one dharma, which is great love that protects all. There is also one dharma, which is great compassion that does not cling to one's own happiness. There is also one dharma, which is the recollection of the Buddha, desiring the body of the Buddha. There is also one dharma, which is the recollection of the Dharma, making the practice of Dharma the essence. There is also one dharma, which is the recollection of the Sangha, having a Sangha that does not turn back. There is also one dharma, which is all afflictions.

Now is the recollection of giving that has been relinquished. Another dharma is: the recollection of the discipline of not forgetting the mind of enlightenment. Another dharma is: the recollection of the deities who possess the pure dharma. Another dharma is: the desire for benefit, possessing benefit and happiness. Another dharma is: having a steadfast mind and strong aspiration. Another dharma is: being supremely delighted in completely liberating all sentient beings. Another dharma is: necessarily arising for the profound dharma, completely seeking the holy dharma. Another dharma is: giving the dharma with a mind free from distractions. Another dharma is: perceiving others as sick for the sake of listening to the dharma. Another dharma is: perceiving the dharma as medicine. Another dharma is: perceiving the dharma as medicine for oneself. Another dharma is: constantly protecting in order to make the holy dharma abide for a long time. Another dharma is: not cutting off the lineage of the Three Jewels. Another dharma is: not being greedy and being content with little. Another dharma is: having no hesitation in completely giving away all possessions. Another dharma is: completely maturing beings who have broken their discipline through one's own discipline. Another dharma is: patience without seeking revenge for wrongs done. Another dharma is: having a mind of gratitude for good deeds done. Another dharma is: having a mind of compassion for those who do not repay kindness. Another dharma is: having a mind of reverence and service for those who repay kindness. Another dharma is: having no arrogance towards those who do not know. Another dharma is: learning from those who know. Another dharma is: not abandoning the mind of superior intention towards the roots of virtue. Another dharma is: not following after an unwholesome mind. Another dharma is: being completely pure in the three vows, without hypocrisy or flattery. Another dharma is: reverently serving those who speak the dharma, cherishing them like the teacher and the lama.
