And also subdues and places them within the completely pure Sangha, that is called the supreme great teacher who protects the Dharma. One who is skilled in the Vinaya is for the benefit of sentient beings, and for the sake of taming, is extremely skilled in the characteristics of heavy and light precepts. He does not strive to understand what is not a precept. He understands and knows what pertains to the precepts. How is it that Bodhisattvas, for the sake of taming sentient beings, always enter cities at any time, and also enter the dwellings of widows and prostitutes, and also dwell together for many years? This is not done by the Hearers; this is called taming for the benefit and happiness of sentient beings. How should one know what is heavy? The Tathagata established a precept regarding one thing, saying, 'From now on, do not violate this,' like the four root precepts, which are forbidden for renunciants to do. If one deliberately commits them, then one is not a Shramana, not a son of Shakya; these are called heavy. How is it light? For a light matter, if one is urged three times and then abandoned, that is called light. What does not arise from the precepts is not using impure things together with what is said not to be used. What arises from the Vinaya is diligently studying the precepts, not relying on those who have broken them, and if one sees those who follow and practice the precepts, one generates great joy. In this way, one who knows all the things to be done in the Buddha's Dharma and is very skilled in teaching is called a teacher of the precepts. One who is very skilled in just one letter, or who greatly upholds the Sutras, is also the same. Thus, son of good family, the Buddha's Dharma is immeasurable and inconceivable, and the Tathagata is also inconceivable. Then, the Bodhisattva Light Protector said to the Bhagavan, 'It is so, it is so, as the Bhagavan has said, the Buddha's Dharma is inconceivable, and the Tathagata is also inconceivable, therefore, the Tathagata is constant, indestructible, and unchangeable.'

Therefore, one should strive diligently in this. Also, one should extensively explain these meanings to others. Then, the Bhagavan (the Blessed One) praised the Bodhisattva Light-Holder, saying, "Excellent! Excellent!" and spoke thus: The body of the Tathagata is the Vajra Body, the indestructible body. Bodhisattvas should train diligently in this way, and see and understand it. Whoever directly knows and sees it in this way has seen the Vajra Body and the indestructible body of the Tathagata. It is like seeing a reflection in a mirror. The chapter called "The Vajra Body" from the Holy Great Nirvana Sutra, the second chapter, is complete. The Second Chapter, called "The Vajra Body."
