第二十三品，善声品。 第二十三品，善声品。 此后，世尊、如来、应供、正等觉的佛陀释迦牟尼佛当时，从大丈夫相眉间毫相中放出光芒，那光芒遍布东方，无量无数亿恒河沙数佛土。在超越无量无数亿恒河沙数佛土的地方，有一个名为“光明照耀庄严”的世界。在那里，有一位如来、应供、正等觉的佛陀，名为无垢莲花瓣星王遍开花，他安住、生活，被无量广大菩萨僧众围绕，并面对他们说法。之后，世尊、如来、应供、正等觉的佛陀释迦牟尼佛从眉间毫相放出的光芒，当时使光明照耀庄严世界被巨大的光明所遍布。在光明照耀庄严世界中，名为善声的大菩萨摩诃萨，已经种下善根，过去也曾见过许多如来、应供、正等觉佛陀的这种光芒。大菩萨摩诃萨善声获得了许多三摩地，如下：获得胜幢顶端庄严三摩地，获得妙法白莲花三摩地，获得无垢所赐三摩地，获得星王游戏三摩地，获得如风三摩地，获得智慧手印三摩地，获得月灯三摩地，获得精通一切声音三摩地，获得总集一切福德三摩地，获得具信三摩地，获得神变游戏三摩地，获得智慧多罗树三摩地。

Chapter Twenty-Three: The Chapter on Good Sound. Chapter Twenty-Three: The Chapter on Good Sound. Then, the Bhagavan, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened Buddha Shakyamuni, at that time, emitted light from the urna hair between the eyebrows, a mark of a great being. That light pervaded eastward to as many Buddha-fields as hundreds of thousands of billions of nayutas of Ganges sands. Beyond those hundreds of thousands of billions of nayutas of Ganges sands of Buddha-fields, there was a world called "Adorned with Rays of Light that Fully Appear." There, a Tathagata, an Arhat, a Perfectly Awakened Buddha named Immaculate Lotus Petal Star King Fully Blooming Flower resided and lived, surrounded by an immeasurable great assembly of Bodhisattvas, and taught the Dharma facing them. Then, the light emitted by the Bhagavan, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened Buddha Shakyamuni from the urna hair, at that time, caused the world "Adorned with Rays of Light that Fully Appear" to be pervaded by great light. In that world "Adorned with Rays of Light that Fully Appear," the Bodhisattva Mahasattva named Good Sound, having planted roots of virtue, had previously seen such light from many Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas. The Bodhisattva Mahasattva Good Sound obtained many samadhis, such as: obtained the samadhi of the banner's top ornament, obtained the samadhi of the white lotus of the sacred Dharma, obtained the samadhi given by the immaculate, obtained the samadhi of the star king's play, obtained the samadhi like the wind, obtained the samadhi of the wisdom mudra, obtained the samadhi of the moon lamp, obtained the samadhi of being skilled in all sounds, obtained the samadhi of gathering all merits, obtained the samadhi of having faith, obtained the samadhi of playing with miraculous powers, obtained the samadhi of the wisdom tala tree.

获得禅定。获得庄严王之禅定。获得无垢光之禅定。获得无垢精华之禅定。获得穷尽之禅定。获得太阳轮之禅定。如是串联。菩萨摩诃萨响亮音，获得禅定百千万俱胝，恒河沙数之多。菩萨摩诃萨响亮音之身被光芒照触。之后，薄伽梵如来应供正等觉莲花瓣无垢星王花普开，菩萨摩诃萨响亮音如是禀白：薄伽梵，我为了瞻仰薄伽梵如来应供正等觉释迦牟尼佛，作礼，承侍，供养，以及瞻仰文殊师利童子，以及瞻仰菩萨药王，以及瞻仰菩萨极喜施，以及瞻仰菩萨星王花普开现证者，以及瞻仰菩萨殊胜行，以及瞻仰菩萨庄严王，以及瞻仰菩萨善逝妙贤，前往娑婆世界。之后，薄伽梵如来应供正等觉莲花瓣无垢星王花普开，对菩萨摩诃萨响亮音如是说道：善男子，你前往娑婆世界之后，不要生起恶劣之想。善男子，娑婆世界是高低不平，由土构成，充满黑山，充满恶劣泥土。薄伽梵如来应供正等觉释迦牟尼佛，其身亦短小。菩萨摩诃萨

Obtained samadhi. Obtained the samadhi of King of Adornment. Obtained the samadhi of Immaculate Light. Obtained the samadhi of Immaculate Essence. Obtained the samadhi of Exhaustion. Obtained the samadhi of the Sun Wheel. Thus connected. Bodhisattva Mahasattva Resounding Sound, obtained samadhis by the billion, trillion, hundred thousand, quadrillion, as many as the sands of the Ganges River. The body of Bodhisattva Mahasattva Resounding Sound was touched by that light. Then, the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Complete Buddha, Lotus Petal Immaculate Star King Flower Fully Bloomed, Bodhisattva Mahasattva Resounding Sound spoke thus: Blessed One, I, in order to behold the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Complete Buddha Shakyamuni, to pay homage, to serve, to make offerings, and to behold Manjushri Kumara, and to behold Bodhisattva Medicine King, and to behold Bodhisattva Supreme Giver, and to behold Bodhisattva Star King Flower Fully Bloomed Abhisambuddha, and to behold Bodhisattva Special Conduct, and to behold Bodhisattva King of Adornment, and to behold Bodhisattva Sugata Samyak Arya, I go to the Sahā world. Then, the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Complete Buddha, Lotus Petal Immaculate Star King Flower Fully Bloomed, spoke thus to Bodhisattva Mahasattva Resounding Sound: Son of good family, you, having gone to the Sahā world, do not generate evil thoughts. Son of good family, the Sahā world is uneven, made of earth, filled with black mountains, and completely filled with bad clay. Those bodies are also short. Son of good family, the body you have obtained is forty-two thousand yojanas. Son of good family, my body is sixty-eight hundred thousand yojanas. Son of good family, you are beautiful, pleasing to behold, with a good form, good complexion, flourishing, endowed with excellence, and possessing glory that far surpasses hundreds of thousands of merits. Son of good family, therefore, after you have gone to the Sahā world, do not generate evil thoughts towards the Tathāgatas and Bodhisattvas and that Buddha-field. After he had spoken thus, the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva Saṃsaṃpota-svara addressed the Blessed One, the Tathāgata, Arhat, Samyaksaṃbuddha, the lotus petal without stain, the king of stars, the flower that is universally blooming, saying: Blessed One, I shall go to the Sahā world by the blessing of the Tathāgata, by the power generated by the Tathāgata, by the various manifestations of the Tathāgata, by the array of the Tathāgata, and by the transcendent wisdom of the Tathāgata. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva Saṃsaṃpota-svara, at that time, without moving from that Buddha-field and without rising from that seat, entered into such a samādhi. As soon as the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva Saṃsaṃpota-svara had entered into that samādhi, immediately in the Sahā world, at the Vulture Peak Mountain, near the Dharma-seat of the Tathāgata, eight-four koṭi-niyuta-hundred-thousand lotuses appeared, the stems of which were gold, the petals were silver, and the hearts were made of lotus and blue lotus, or whatever else.
