Chapter Five, entitled "Practicing My Deeds". Chapter Five, entitled "Practicing My Deeds". The eight kinds of nine-aspect mind are the cause of the ignorant world. This is the harmony of mind and mental events. Wherever it dwells, there are various forms. Also, by its power, the various consciousnesses and faculties, these aspects such as ignorance, the root mind is stable. All twelve limbs are complete, as well as the elements and sources, objects, faculties, and the world, are the cause of momentary destruction. Spoken by the Thuba, the god of gods, abandoning cause and effect, the ultimate Brahma world, these beings with faculties, are not created by seeking the world, but perish like pottery themselves. Inside and outside are always constant, beings dwelling and moving, are the realm of the god of gods, unseen by anyone on earth. Silently abiding, others praise, is the one with the marks of Thuba. Bound by mutual bonds, are the various aspects of craving. Because consciousness travels quickly, the aspect of mind cannot be understood. The end of a thousand years, the offerings are the means to Brahma. Having attained and then reverting, is thinking of lineage in Samaya. Desiring to engage in forbidden life fruits, as well as the fruit of the moon, the fruit of throwing into fire, and other offering fruits, also the fruit of binding livestock, revert from the Brahma world. Beings with three qualities, what fault is there in the scattered aspect of ignorance? The grains of three virtues are connected, like a lotus without essence. One does not find liberation with this, the dense abode of the Thus Come One. That is attained by yoga, the dense abode of yoga wisdom. Therefore, the sole Brahma lord, yogis strive to enter. Here, whether there is self or not-self, birth and death are both present and absent. What cannot be cut off and cannot be destroyed, is the consciousness of all embodied beings. Not stained by habitual tendencies, it arises from beginningless time. The dwelling of the mind, accumulating bad karma, even elaboration does not enter into it. Just as heavenly lotus flowers, and dusters in the sky, and the stains of clouds on the sun and moon, likewise, it is not stained.
