There will be no obtaining. The mind is a mirage that deceives. When spring sways, the mountain deer perceive it as water, but there is no substance in it. Likewise, the seed of consciousness shakes violently at the object of viewing. Children perceive it as birth. Like the dizziness of one with cataracts. The meditator, the object of meditation, and the meditation, the abandonment and the seeing of truth, whoever realizes that these are merely concepts, is liberated. These dharmas have no essence, they arise from conceit. Whoever prides himself on emptiness, his pride is also emptiness. The five aggregates and consciousness, like the reflection of a tree in water. Appearances are like illusions and dreams, do not fixate on discriminating awareness. Like magic, zombies, magic wheels, like dreams, lightning, and clouds. When the three lineages are always explained, beings become confused when they see it. Due to improper conceptualization, in eight or nine different ways, consciousness transforms, like the waves of the ocean. Always generated by habitual tendencies, rooted and firmly established. The mind wanders in the realm of activity, like a magnet attracts iron. It dwells in all sentient beings, the ground of lineage abandons concepts. When wisdom and the knowable are completely abandoned, when liberated from activity, it transforms. Arising from the ten bhumis, a samadhi like an illusion, and abandoning perception and consciousness, the king of mind should be beheld. When the mind becomes something, an immeasurable palace like a lotus, when the realm of illusion arises, at that time it is eternal. Once dwelling there, through spontaneously accomplished awareness, like jewels of various shapes, it benefits all sentient beings. When separate from conceptualization, if there is neither conditioned nor unconditioned, it is like a barren woman, a dream child. Children cling to false aspects. Selflessness, unborn, as well as the continuum of the person and the aggregates, causes, elements, the knowable, emptiness, existence, and non-existence, I explain as a method, if I do not explain characteristics, for the basis of names and characteristics, children cling to reality. Even omniscient is not omniscient. In the center of all there is not all. Children destroy.

Thinking of this as the Buddha, one does not recognize nor demonstrate; this designation is merely a name, in terms of essence, it does not exist. In whatever that is, it is a conceptualizing, aggregates like tangled hair; there is not the slightest arising from nothing, nor do the conditions decay. Like a flower in the sky and a mirage, when is such an assembly ever seen? At that time, the grasper and the grasped, seeing them as mistaken, will cease. Essence and action, as well as things, I do not pass into nirvana; if conceptualization and consciousness are reversed, then I am nirvana. Just as when a great river is exhausted, waves will no longer arise, so too, when it has ceased, various consciousnesses will not arise. Emptiness, devoid of inherent existence, unborn like an illusion, neither existent nor nonexistent, these things are like dreams. I explain the single essence, abandoning thought, characteristics, and lineage, it is the realm of activity for noble deities, abandoning the two essences. There is no grasper and no grasped, no liberation and no bondage, like illusion and mirage, like dreams and cataracts. When one desires the true meaning, without discrimination and without attachment, the yogi enters into that vision, without doubt, one also sees me. In that, there is no consciousness whatsoever, like a mirage in the sky; if one knows the dharmas in this way, then there is nothing to be known. Because the elements are greatly disturbed, like fireflies, although nonexistent, they are confused and appear in various ways; likewise, the nature of the world. From grass, trees, and gravel, although illusion becomes extremely beautiful, that illusion is nonexistent, the nature of dharma is also like that. From the existence and nonexistence of conditions, the arising of dharmas is nonexistent, in the three realms it is mistaken, therefore various things appear. The world and dreams are identical in essence, in that, various forms also appear, touch and enjoyment, and the limit of the body's movement, the lord and creator of the world are all the same. This mind is the origin of the three realms, the delusion of the mind is the appearance of this and the other shore. Since the world does not exist, one should not examine it; having understood the nature of the world in this way, one will reach the limit of the impure place. Do
