Those retinues of the places, each with their manifestly accumulated merits, offered to the Tathagata with divine flowers, incense, fragrances, flower garlands, unguents, clothing, ornaments, and the noises of "Alala," the sounds of Gasha, divine musical instruments, clapping, and songs, and said, "Excellent, O Blessed One, excellent, excellent! For the benefit of all sentient beings, and for the long duration of the Tathagata's teachings, you have very excellently spoken this great Dharma discourse." Then, the Venerable Ananda said to the Blessed One, "Blessed One, what is the name of this Dharma discourse? How should we uphold it?" The Blessed One said, "Ananda, therefore, you should uphold this Dharma discourse as 'The Approval of All Tathagatas' and 'The Subduing of the Bodhisattva Ground.' You should also uphold it as 'The Great Assembly of Miraculous Transformations.' You should also uphold it as 'The Blessing of All Tathagatas Looking Upon Sentient Beings and Universally Displaying the Adornment of the Buddha-fields.'"
