They all became doubtful. In order to dispel the doubts of those who have become doubtful, please explain the reason why the Lord of Men smiled. Who has placed their faith in the Dharma today? Who has seen the actions of the Victorious One in the nature of reality? Who has made offerings of praise to the Buddha today? We wish to hear about these things, Lord of Men. Who has subdued the Maras and their mounts today? Who has pleased the Teacher's mind today? Who has realized the depths of conditioned phenomena today? Please let us hear about these things, and dispel our doubts. In order to hear the reason for the Guide's smile, all beings stood with their palms joined. Lord of the two-legged, please generate compassion, and please dispel the double-mindedness of those who have become doubtful. The Bhagavan said: Ananda, have you seen this daughter of a prostitute, named Golden Excellent Radiance (藏文：གསེར་མཆོག་འོད་དཔལ་)? He replied: Bhagavan, I have seen her. Sugata, I have seen her. The Bhagavan said: Ananda, this daughter of a prostitute, Golden Excellent Radiance (藏文：གསེར་མཆོག་འོད་དཔལ་), was formerly Manjushri as a youth. I caused her to properly grasp the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Having heard from him, she has obtained the acceptance that accords with the Dharma. Ananda, have you seen this son of a merchant, named Fearless Giver (藏文：འཇིགས་བྱིན་)? He replied: Bhagavan, I have seen him. Sugata, I have seen him. The Bhagavan said: Ananda, I formerly caused this one to properly grasp the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Having heard the Dharma from me, he has also obtained the acceptance that accords with the Dharma. Ananda, this daughter of a prostitute, Golden Excellent Radiance (藏文：གསེར་མཆོག་འོད་དཔལ་), after ninety-two hundred million kalpas, in the kalpa called Jewel-born, in the world called Jewel-possessing, will awaken to perfect enlightenment, becoming the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Complete Buddha, called Jewel Light Tathagata. The gods also become like him. There, no other jewels will appear except for the Bodhisattvas. The lifespan of that Tathagata will be immeasurable. When he attains the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, this merchant's son, Fearful Giving, will also become a Bodhisattva named Jewel Light of Qualities. He will hold the treasury of the Dharma of that Tathagata. When that Tathagata Jewel Light passes into complete nirvana, O Bodhisattva Jewel Light of Qualities, this Bodhisattva Jewel Light of Qualities will attain unsurpassed perfect enlightenment after me, becoming the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened Buddha, Jewel Light Radiance. His Buddha-field arrangement will also become like mine, he will make such a prediction. As soon as the prostitute's daughter, Golden Top Light, and the merchant's son, Fearful Giving, were given predictions, the three thousand great thousand world realms immediately shook in six ways, and the world was filled with great light. When this prophecy was taught, hundreds of thousands of beings generated the mind for unsurpassed perfect enlightenment.
