That light also caused the merchant Zangskyong to develop fearlessness, circumambulated the Blessed One three times, and then touched the feet of the Blessed One and said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, please have compassion on me! I have now developed faith in the Blessed One. Blessed One, since this is the case, I have some expectations in some aspects, seeking the Dharma, and being completely tormented by the sufferings of samsara, with a heavy emphasis on conceptualization, possessing all kinds of wonders, please explain to me. Blessed One, I am a doubtful person. Sugata, I am a hesitant person, because I am blinded by ignorance and have not sought a way to escape from samsara. Blessed One is all-knowing, because you accomplish all the means of happiness, like a wish-fulfilling jewel, which has not appeared in the world but has now appeared. Blessed One is amiable to all sentient beings, like parents. After saying that, the Blessed One said to the merchant Zangskyong: Zangskyong, therefore, ask whatever you want to ask, and I will satisfy you with questions and prophecies. Then, Zangskyong, wanting to ask, sat aside. The Venerable Ananda saw the merchant Zangskyong sitting aside with great splendor and perfect appearance, and said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, this Zangskyong's appearance is beautiful and rich, even the glory of the king is overwhelmed, and it is especially beautiful, which is really amazing. Then, the Blessed One said to the Venerable Ananda: Ananda, Zangskyong's means of happiness, and the joy and play he enjoys, are not available even to the king of the gods, Indra, except for the young merchant Yuexian. Even the most special people in this Jambudvipa do not have it. Then, the Venerable Ananda said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, what is the wealth of this merchant Zangskyong? The Blessed One said:

O Kungawo (Sanskrit: Ānanda), sixty thousand merchants full of wealth and gold follow him in this way. Sixty thousand beds adorned with various colors, with exquisite weaves, with soft cushions inside, and red pillows placed on the left and right. And sixty thousand women, wearing silk, dukūla cloth (Sanskrit: dukūla), mentrī cloth (Sanskrit: mentrī), maunda cloth (Sanskrit: maunda), refined clothes, lākṣāgu upper garments (Sanskrit: lākṣāgu), red and various kinds of fine linen clothes, adorned with shining jewels, with palms that are soft and very smooth to the touch, transformed in various ways, rejoicing and happy, frolicking with the joy and supreme joy generated by eloquent, charming and sweet words. Adorning the body in the manner of serving the household, abandoning the desire for other men, beautiful and submissive, wearing fine clothes. There is no fighting with each other out of jealousy, nor do they show anger, frown, or resentment due to harm. The feet and fingers are very soft, the gaps between the joints of the feet and fingers are not visible, the feet and hands are large, the body is symmetrical, the posture is graceful, turning to the right, very beautiful, full of affection, very kind, born from renowned lineages and clans, thus generating fame and goodness, the body is very soft. Sixty thousand houses suitable for noble women to play in and rooms full of luxurious bedding, and sixty thousand copper pots filled with excellent rice, with very fragrant and various vegetables, and excellent sālub porridge (Sanskrit: sālub), and various delicious dishes like water with eight qualities, emitting fragrance, pleasing, and generating joy, without affliction, produced by merit, without foul odor and impurity, and will not become a defect of the body. And tiered houses adorned with jewels, pearls, vaiḍūrya (Sanskrit: vaiḍūrya, lapis lazuli), and various treasures, decorated differently, beautiful and pretty. And refined cloth curtains, moved by the wind, scattered with small flowers, and cool to the touch with cool water, becoming cool. And musical instruments such as hand drums and lutes.

Flower vines entwined around the tops, with bees emitting beautiful sounds. Like the space between the heavenly realms and the shoulders of Mount Meru, it had wind shelters, and the splendor of burning butter lamps, and sixty thousand bright and radiant medicine lamps. The city's crossroads, triple junctions, markets, and streets were beautifully adorned. The languages, customs, goods, and various shops of different regions were exchanged, adorning the place. Thousands of merchant gatherings were bustling. Hundreds and thousands of forests and various trees grew densely. Blooming, immaculate lotus flowers spread their fragrance, adorning the place. Sixty thousand horses, elephants, and precious trees filled the city. Ananda, in those cities, merchants and traders, local residents, and captains all praised the young merchant chief Good Protector and spoke of his good name. They would fold their hands in reverence to him every day. King Bright of the Kosala country, seeing his power, wealth, and prosperity, considered himself like a poor man. Ananda, this young merchant chief Moon Worth was surrounded by attendants who possessed the means to cook a hundred thousand bowls. Ananda, there were also five thousand women who attended to him. Ananda, even the happiness of the king of gods, Indra, could not compare even a fraction to that of Moon Worth. Ananda, the young merchant chief Moon Worth could not compare even one percent to the merchant chief Good Protector in terms of handsome appearance, radiant complexion, power, and happiness. Ananda, however, Good Protector possessed a divine chariot, a divine wish-fulfilling jewel shining with light, like the night sky adorned with stars. The body was adorned with shining divine gold and decorated with diamonds, cat's eyes, and various agates, swift as the wind and traveling like flying in the sky.

He also goes to the delightful garden and enjoys happiness. There is a top divine chariot named "Intoxicating" that returns after experiencing the ultimate. Then, Venerable Ananda prostrated at the feet of the Blessed One and said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, what kind of virtuous roots has this young merchant, Good Protector, accumulated?" Then the Blessed One said to the venerable Ananda: "Ananda, it is the ripening of the virtuous roots planted in the Buddha. Ananda, in the past, there appeared a Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha named 'Light of Bliss'. Ananda, that merchant Good Protector was that Buddha's Shravaka disciple named Good Top Banner. He practiced without violating the precepts, behaving correctly, speaking the Dharma, holding the treasury of learning, and being a Vinaya holder. Every day, he taught the Dharma to sentient beings with a pleasant and delightful voice, profound and stable, high and thorough. Whoever hears and understands this Dharma will not fall into evil realms in the future. Ananda, by the merit of that Dharma donation, he pleased gods and humans for ninety-one kalpas. Ananda, I will now explain the origin of his immeasurable palace of the divine chariot. Ananda, he offered food with a faithful heart to a monk who was practicing celibacy, observing the precepts, and physically weak, and also gave him a pair of shoes. By the ripening of that merit, he achieved this top divine chariot. Ananda, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha Light Protector also prophesied: 'In the future, when the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni appears, he will give you a prophecy.' Ananda, this merchant Good Protector is one whom I have tamed." Then, Venerable Ananda said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, even though this merchant possesses endless wealth and gold, and desirable lands, he has never become arrogant or complacent because of it."
