即，舍弃虚诳之语，使邪见众生安住于正见，守护正法于隐没之时，使众生安住于正等菩提。女儿啊，菩萨若具足此四法，则眷属不退转。因此说：舍弃虚诳及邪见，于正法隐没时能守护，使众生安住于正菩提，眷属不退转且圆满。女儿啊，菩萨若具足四法，则于诸佛世尊前，从大宝莲花中化生。何为四？即，以粉、乌巴拉花、莲花、姑母达花或白莲充满双手，供养如来之身像或如来之塔，且不生害人之心，使如来之身像安住于莲花座上，并于佛之菩提生起广大之信解。女儿啊，菩萨若具足此四法，则于诸佛世尊前，从大宝莲花中化生。因此说：以粉末鲜花满手而供养，舍弃害人之心而造佛像，若安住于广大信解，则于诸佛前化生。女儿啊，菩萨若具足四法，则以神通从佛土往诣佛土。何为四？即，不障碍他人之善根，不障碍他人听闻正法，于如来之塔供养明灯，修习禅定。女儿啊，菩萨若具足此四法，则以神通从佛土往诣佛土。因此说：不障碍他人之善根，不诽谤他人之法谈，于诸佛之塔供养明灯，

That is, abandoning false speech, causing sentient beings with wrong views to abide in right view, protecting the true Dharma when it is disappearing, and causing sentient beings to abide in perfect Bodhi. Daughter, if a Bodhisattva possesses these four qualities, their retinue will not regress. Therefore, it is said: Abandoning falsehood and wrong views, protecting the true Dharma when it disappears, causing sentient beings to abide in perfect Bodhi, the retinue will not regress and will be complete. Daughter, if a Bodhisattva possesses four qualities, they will be born miraculously from a great precious lotus in the presence of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. What are the four? They are: filling their hands with powder, Utpala flowers, lotuses, Kumuda flowers, or white lotuses, offering them to the body of the Tathagata or the stupa of the Tathagata, not generating harmful thoughts towards others, causing the body of the Tathagata to abide on a lotus seat, and generating great faith and understanding in the Bodhi of the Buddha. Daughter, if a Bodhisattva possesses these four qualities, they will be born miraculously from a great precious lotus in the presence of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. Therefore, it is said: Offering with hands full of powder and flowers, abandoning harmful thoughts and making Buddha images, if one abides in great faith and understanding, then one will be born miraculously in the presence of the Victorious Ones. Daughter, if a Bodhisattva possesses four qualities, they will go from Buddha-field to Buddha-field by means of miraculous power. What are the four? They are: not obstructing the roots of virtue of others, not obstructing others from listening to the Dharma, offering lamps to the stupas of the Tathagata, and practicing meditation. Daughter, if a Bodhisattva possesses these four qualities, they will go from Buddha-field to Buddha-field by means of miraculous power. Therefore, it is said: Not obstructing the roots of virtue of others, not slandering the Dharma talks of others, offering lamps to the stupas of the Victorious Ones,

修习守护，那便前往净土。女儿，菩萨具有四法，则无有敌对。何为四？即：不虚伪地依止善知识；不吝惜善根；欢喜他人之利得；对于菩萨们的一切作为和住处，不生嗔恨，不宣扬恶名。女儿，菩萨具有此四法，则无有敌对。因此说：对于善知识，不虚伪依止；欢喜他人之利，且无有吝惜；不诽谤菩萨之行，则恒常无有敌对而行。 女儿，菩萨具有四法，则言辞庄严。何为四？即：如其所说而行；不隐瞒对朋友的真实情感；不寻求报酬而听闻佛法；不对其他说法者进行诽谤。女儿，菩萨具有此四法，则言辞庄严。因此说：如其所说而行，不隐瞒对朋友的真实情感，不寻求报酬而听闻佛法，则无有恐惧，言辞也庄严。女儿，菩萨具有四法，则无有业障，且能迅速证得完全清净。何为四？即：以增上意乐受持三种律仪；不舍弃甚深经典；对于初发心的菩萨，生起视其为一切智者的念头；修习对一切众生的慈爱。女儿，菩萨具有此四法，则无有业障，且能迅速证得完全清净。因此说：以增上意乐安住于三种律仪，恒常信乐甚深经典，视佛子如一切智者，以慈爱对待众生，则业障清净。女儿，菩萨具有四法，则无有魔业。何为四？一切法平等

By cultivating guarding, one goes to the pure land. Daughter, a Bodhisattva possessing four qualities becomes unopposed. What are the four? They are: relying on virtuous spiritual friends without deceit; not being stingy with the roots of virtue; rejoicing in the gains of others; and not being angry or spreading unpleasant rumors about all the actions and abodes of Bodhisattvas. Daughter, a Bodhisattva possessing these four qualities becomes unopposed. Therefore, it is said: Towards virtuous spiritual friends, be without deceit; rejoice in the gains of others and be without stinginess; if you do not slander the conduct of Bodhisattvas, you will always act without opposition. Daughter, a Bodhisattva possessing four qualities becomes eloquent. What are the four? They are: acting according to what is said; not concealing one's true nature from friends; listening to the Dharma without seeking reward; and not criticizing other Dharma speakers. Daughter, a Bodhisattva possessing these four qualities becomes eloquent. Therefore, it is said: Acting according to what is said, not concealing one's true nature from friends, listening to the Dharma without seeking reward, one becomes fearless and eloquent. Daughter, a Bodhisattva possessing four qualities becomes free from karmic obscurations and quickly realizes complete purification. What are the four? They are: taking the three vows purely with superior intention; not abandoning the profound sutras; generating the perception of a newly generated Bodhisattva as omniscient; and meditating on loving-kindness towards all sentient beings. Daughter, a Bodhisattva possessing these four qualities becomes free from karmic obscurations and quickly realizes complete purification. Therefore, it is said: Abiding in the three vows with superior intention, always admiring the profound sutras, seeing the Buddha's son as omniscient, purifying karma with loving-kindness towards sentient beings. Daughter, a Bodhisattva possessing four qualities becomes free from the actions of demons. What are the four? All dharmas are equal.

于如是之性而修习，发起精进，修习忆念佛陀，完全回向善根，女儿，菩萨具有此四法，则无魔业。于此如是说：于诸法中通达法性，发起精进且忆念佛陀，完全回向、忏悔与顶礼，则魔不得便。女儿，菩萨具有四法，临终之时，佛陀现于其前，亦从彼闻法，亦不感受痛苦。何为四者？即：成办他人之意乐，具广大信解，近于成办菩萨之布施陈设种种，勤于供养三宝。女儿，菩萨具有此四法，临终之时，佛陀现于其前，亦从彼闻法，亦不感受痛苦。于此如是说：彼成办他人之意乐，信解与布施广大，彼智者恒常行布施，是故如来现于其前。如是宣说后，具寿妙慧女向世尊如是请白：尊者世尊，我欲修学如世尊所制定的菩萨学处。世尊，若我于如世尊所宣说的此十之四法中，即使一法未修学，我亦欺诳如来之身。其后，大德目犍连子向妙慧女如是说：女儿，菩萨之行难以退转，然汝如是真实受持，汝是否已得心自在？如是说后，妙慧女向具寿大目犍连子如是说：尊者目犍连子，以真实与真实语，我将成办一切圆满之法，以此真实与真实语，三千大千

Daughter, if a Bodhisattva possesses four qualities, at the time of death, the Buddha will be present before them, and they will also hear the Dharma from them, and they will not experience suffering. What are the four? They are: accomplishing the intentions of others, having great faith and understanding, closely accomplishing various arrangements for the Bodhisattva's giving, and being diligent in making offerings to the Three Jewels. Daughter, if a Bodhisattva possesses these four qualities, at the time of death, the Buddha will be present before them, and they will also hear the Dharma from them, and they will not experience suffering. In this regard, it is said: They accomplish the intentions of others, Faith and giving are vast, That wise one always practices giving, Therefore, the Tathagata is present before them. After speaking thus, the venerable Excellent Wisdom Daughter requested the Blessed One, saying: Venerable Blessed One, I wish to train in these Bodhisattva trainings as the Blessed One has prescribed. Blessed One, if I do not train in even one of these four out of ten qualities that the Blessed One has spoken of, may I deceive the body of the Tathagata. Then, the great elder Maudgalyayana's son said to the Excellent Wisdom Daughter: Daughter, the conduct of Bodhisattvas is difficult to fall into decline, but if you take it up so truly, have you gained control over your mind?
