Then, Ananda, all dharmas are also the dharmic nature attained by the Tathagata. What is the reason for that? Ananda, for example, the Tathagata has realized the undifferentiated Suchness; I have realized that undifferentiated Suchness, and just as I have realized it, all sentient beings have also realized it, and just as all sentient beings have realized it, all dharmas have also been realized. Bhikshu Ananda, the dharmic nature of the Tathagata is not thoroughly distinguished by duality. Bhikshu Ananda, non-duality refers to the absence of all-knowing and all-comprehending. What is the reason for that? Because the consciousness of complete comprehension is the wisdom of the Buddha. Then, Venerable Ananda said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, the good son is bewildering the world, including the gods. He has bewildered them before with the dharmic nature of illusion, and now he is bewildering them with wisdom and knowledge. What is the reason for that? Because this person's boldness of wisdom and knowledge is such. Then, the Blessed One said to the illusionist Good Protector: Good Protector, is it true that you are bewildering the world, including the gods? He replied: Blessed One, just as the Blessed One bewilders them, so do I bewilder them. What is the reason for that? Blessed One, for example, teaching the Dharma by designating sentient beings as non-self, and teaching the Dharma as a person by designating non-life and non-personality, this is a very great bewilderment. The Tathagata, sitting at the heart of the Bodhi tree, although he does not see the death, transference, going, or birth of any dharma, he also shows the dharma of death, transference, going, and birth. Blessed One, since this is the case, how can the Tathagata's true speech and teaching be the realm of the world, including the gods? Then, the Blessed One said "Good, good" to the illusionist Good Protector, and said: Good son, good, good! You

Just as it is said, like this, it is a great delusion to teach the Dharma by naming sentient beings as selfless, and to teach the Dharma by naming persons as lifeless and without a person. Although the Tathagata, while dwelling at the Bodhi tree, did not see any Dharma that dies, transmigrates, or is born, he also taught the Dharma of dying, transmigrating, and being born. There is no Dharma to teach the Dharma for the sake of completely passing away from suffering or returning from suffering. Then, the noble son requested the Bhagavan to go forth, and the Bhagavan spoke to the Bodhisattva Maitreya: Maitreya, let this noble son go forth. Then Maitreya caused the noble son to go forth and fully ordained him. Having been fully ordained, he then said to the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, the Bodhisattvas do not go forth by color, signs, or manner. Bhagavan, why is that? Bhagavan, if a Bodhisattva has no attachment to all signs and does not abide even in the three realms in order to fully ripen sentient beings, that is the going forth of the Bodhisattvas. Moreover, when this teaching was taught at that time, five thousand beings generated the mind for unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Two hundred monks, without grasping, had their minds completely liberated from the defilements. Then, the venerable Ananda said to the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, what is the name of this Dharma discourse? How should this name be held? The Bhagavan said: Hold it as "The Prophecy of the Good Illusionist." Also hold it as "The Gradual Arising of Perfect Enlightenment." Ananda, any Bodhisattva who wishes to see the Tathagata and wishes to perform the deeds of the Buddha for sentient beings should hold, write, read, and also teach this Dharma discourse to others. Why is that? Ananda, whoever holds, cherishes, and reads this Dharma discourse,

Furthermore, by thoroughly demonstrating to others, one sees the Tathagata. One also performs the deeds of the Buddha for sentient beings. Ananda, therefore, you should bring happiness to many people, and have compassion for the world, that is, for the benefit, welfare, and happiness of gods and humans, hold this Dharma discourse, recite it, write it, and make it fully understood. Ananda, whatever Dharma brings about perfect enlightenment, and this Great Vehicle also brings about perfect enlightenment, that is thoroughly demonstrated from this Great Vehicle. Therefore, Ananda, you should have faith in this Dharma discourse called "Manifesting Perfect Enlightenment," and understand it. Whoever makes this Dharma discourse into a book, or offers their body, the Tathagata is in their body, what need is there to mention those who hear it and practice it accordingly? Then, the noble son said to the Blessed One, "Blessed One, this Dharma discourse is called 'Inciting Previous Virtuous Roots.' Why is that? Blessed One, because after I heard this Dharma discourse, all the previous roots of virtue have become manifest." After the Blessed One had spoken thus, the noble son, the venerable Ananda, and that entire assembly, along with the world of gods, humans, asuras, and gandharvas, rejoiced and praised what the Blessed One had said. The twenty-first chapter, called "The Prophecy of the Good Illusionist," from the Dharma Category of the Great Collection of Jewels Sutra in One Hundred Thousand Sections, is complete. Translated, edited, and finalized by the Indian Abbot Jinamitra, Prajñavarma, and the reviser, the monk Yeshede, and others. The twenty-second chapter, which is the manifestation of great miracles, from the Dharma Category of the Great Collection of Jewels Sutra in One Hundred Thousand Sections, the first volume is complete. The Sutra of the Great Vehicle called "The Prophecy of the Noble Good Illusionist."
