Twenty-second, the chapter on the prophecy of the Good Increase Division. Twenty-second, the chapter on the prophecy of the Good Increase Division. Eighth volume. Then, the twelve kotis of gods of the Good Increase Division also saw the offerings from the Asuras to the gods of clear light. Having heard the prophecy, they were satisfied, pleased, and rejoiced. They said, "We have become perfectly accomplished," and asked the Blessed One, "Blessed One, there is a samadhi called 'Going to Bliss in All Dharmas.' Having attained this samadhi, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva experiences only pleasant feelings in all objects of focus, and does not experience painful feelings. He does not experience painful feelings, nor does he experience feelings that are neither painful nor pleasant. Even if harmed by the harm of sentient beings in hell, he abides in the perception of bliss. Even if harmed by the harm of humans, he abides in the perception of bliss. Even if a hand is cut off, or a foot is cut off, or a hand and foot are cut off, or an ear, or a nose, or an ear and nose are cut off, he abides in the perception of bliss. Even if whipped, or half-whipped, or beaten with a stick, he abides in the perception of bliss. Even if imprisoned, or imprisoned in iron shackles and wooden shackles, or subjected to severe punishment, or bound like a child's topknot, or steamed like a steaming pot, or beaten like sugarcane, or cut like reeds, or burned like a butter lamp, or even if the butter lamp's oil drips like boiled yogurt, he abides in the perception of bliss. Even if thrown into fire, or thrown into the mouth of a lion, or thrown into the mouth of a tiger, or rolled like a dry haystack, or cut like the punishment of a mouse, or proclaimed like the proclamation of a crime, or cut into the size of a Kārṣāpaṇa, or cooked like rice flour, or trampled by elephants, he abides in the perception of bliss. Even if the eyes are gouged out, or placed on the top of a bright wooden stake, or led to the place of execution and beheaded in every way, he abides in the perception of bliss. It is neither bliss nor non-bliss.

All perceptions do not arise in any way. Why is that? In this way, when the Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices for a long time, he makes the following aspiration: "May those who give me food obtain the bliss of near peace. May those who give me drink, those who serve me, those who respect me, those who attend to me, and those who make offerings, may all of them obtain the bliss of near peace. May all those who scold me, make me uncomfortable, beat me, stab me with weapons, and even kill me in every way, may all of them obtain the bliss of enlightenment and awaken to the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment." Having made such an aspiration, being endowed with those intentions, endowed with such actions, and endowed with such aspirations, relying on the perception of happiness that follows all sentient beings, approaching, meditating, and practicing it extensively, from that ripening, one will fully obtain the Samadhi of happily proceeding in all dharmas. When the Bodhisattva obtains the Samadhi of happily proceeding in all dharmas, all the works of Mara will not be able to steal or disturb it. At that time, one will have power over life, power over birth, power over karma, power over discrimination, and power over resources. One should know that one has obtained the five powers. If one desires to know this, one will immediately awaken to perfect enlightenment in the next life. If one desires to know this, one will abide for countless eons. Why is that? In this way, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva has truly entered the Great Vehicle, accomplishing the Bodhisattva, upholding the Bodhisattva, thoroughly eliminating all evil destinies, being born in all six realms, training in all the Bodhisattva's trainings, being upheld by the Perfection of Wisdom, being endowed with skillful means, being victorious over the works of Mara, and for the sake of knowing that all dharmas are comprehended. Bhagavan, whatever is the Dharma of the Bodhisattva.
