Having appeared in the world, O monks, the Tathagata Crown Prince, with each aspiration, has contemplated benefiting beings in worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, and has indeed done so. The Buddha-field of the Tathagata Crown Prince is also like worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, becoming one Buddha-field. It is completely pure, and all evil destinies and unfavorable conditions are completely eliminated. In that Buddha-field of the Tathagata Crown Prince, there will absolutely be no birth of beings destined to fall into evil destinies. There will be no appearance of wrong views. There will be no appearance of those with strong pride. There will be no appearance of beings whose bodily, verbal, and mental actions are completely pure. There will be no arising of afflictions and actions that cause evil destinies. Why is that? Because the Tathagata has long placed and filled beings with virtuous dharmas, and has taught and instructed them. The Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha Crown Prince, the beings residing in that Buddha-field also attain five kinds of happiness. For example, some beings possess the happiness of desire. Some beings possess the happiness of renunciation. Some beings possess the happiness of meditation. Some beings possess the happiness of attainment. Some beings possess the happiness of unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. They also enjoy these happinesses, but they have no attachment to these happinesses. For example, a bee lives on the nectar of flowers, but has no attachment to the nectar. Similarly, these beings also fully enjoy these happinesses, but they have no attachment to them. For example, a bird flying in the sky flies in the sky, but has no attachment to the sky. In that Buddha-field of the Tathagata Crown Prince, the beings residing there have no unpleasant discomfort that causes unhappiness, no delusion; on the contrary, only pleasing

It is used completely, and this is for the sake of generating such roots of virtue. Why is that? Because those sentient beings, when the Tathagata Crown Prince formerly practiced the conduct of a Bodhisattva, completely turned away from non-virtue and placed them in virtue, therefore, for them, the ripening of any karma that would cause them to experience the feeling of suffering, the powerless arising of non-virtue, such non-virtue does not exist at all, because they have not accumulated it, therefore the ripening that would cause them to feel suffering does not arise. Even with a mind of mere ignorance, they have not accumulated any karma that would cause the ignorant to experience feelings that are neither suffering nor happiness, because they have not accumulated it, therefore the feeling of ignorance, which is neither suffering nor happiness, does not arise. In that Buddha-field of the Tathagata Crown Prince, by what cause do those sentient beings not experience the suffering arising from seasonal changes, therefore the sun of discomfort does not rise, the wind of discomfort does not blow, the rain of discomfort does not fall. When that Tathagata Crown Prince formerly practiced the conduct of a Bodhisattva, he indicated and explained to those sentient beings all the actions of body, speech, and mind, making wisdom manifest and following wisdom, therefore, those sentient beings, having heard the instructions of that Bodhisattva, all the actions of body, speech, and mind, made wisdom manifest and followed wisdom, and completely accomplished it, therefore, by the ripening of that karma, they will not become ignorant or displeased. For the ignorant, by what cause does the feeling that is neither pleasure nor pain not arise? Therefore, in that Buddha-field, those sentient beings have no feeling of suffering, and there is no feeling that is neither pleasure nor pain. Those sentient beings born in that Buddha-field, filled with the Tathagata, will abide closely with great reverence for the Dharma. Even when they walk, they keep the Dharma in mind, and walk with devotion and attachment to the Dharma, those who walk with a mind of devotion and attachment to the Dharma

There, feelings of suffering do not arise. Likewise, in standing, sitting, lying down, waking, and all activities, suffering does not arise. Those beings in that Buddha-field also have no unabandoned suffering; therefore, feelings of unabandoned suffering do not arise. Because there is true abandonment, they have no sorrow; therefore, they also have no suffering to be truly abandoned. Those beings also have no suffering of change, because those beings have no attachment to all phenomena. They also have no suffering of encountering unpleasant things, because those beings abide closely with a mind of equanimity towards all beings. They also have no suffering of separation from pleasant things. Why is that? It is because they have no attachment to all phenomena. The suffering of separation from pleasant things arises from pleasant things; therefore, they also have no suffering of separation from pleasant things. Those beings also do not experience the suffering of suffering, because there, there is no flow of feelings of suffering. Otherwise, there is only the suffering of conditioning, which is the suffering of impermanence itself. The Tathagata teaches the ultimate Dharma. When the Tathagata Crown Prince resides for as many kalpas as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River, because of his teaching, no speaking beings appear in that Buddha-field, because those beings have been well matured in the past. Monks, what do you think? With other, inferior, dejected, exhausted, completely accomplished by suffering, mixed with suffering, possessing suffering, completely seized by suffering, wrongly conceived, and nearly accomplished roots of virtue, can one benefit so many beings? Can one think of benefiting them? Can one accomplish happiness? Can one eliminate suffering? Can one purify such a vast Buddha-field in this way? Can one fully mature so many beings? They replied: No.
