From this, the Bodhisattva's perfection of generosity and the perfection of discipline are completely fulfilled. For those beings who act with anger and are lazy, the Bodhisattva's perfection of patience and the perfection of diligence are completely fulfilled. For those beings who are foolish and deluded, the Bodhisattva's perfection of meditation is completely fulfilled. For those beings who do not offer help, the Bodhisattva does not develop a mind of anger. For those beings who offer help, the Bodhisattva does not develop a mind of attachment. For those beings who utter praise, the Bodhisattva does not become arrogant. For those beings who do not utter praise, the Bodhisattva does not become discouraged. For those beings who are suffering, the Bodhisattva generates great compassion. For those beings who are happy, the Bodhisattva generates joy and supreme joy. For those beings who are difficult to tame and unruly, the Bodhisattva generates a mind of tranquility. For those beings who are grateful, the Bodhisattva generates a mind of gratitude. For those beings who have the power of conditions, the Bodhisattva generates a mind of protection. For those beings who have the power of karma, the Bodhisattva generates a mind of cutting off with punishment, threatening, and admonishing. 應當宣說地獄之語。對於那些貪著聽聞的眾生,應當宣說生起的語。對於那些貪著三摩地的眾生,應當宣說進入智慧的語。對於那些貪著寂靜處的眾生,應當宣說使眾生遠離的語。對於那些貪著修持的功德和節儉用度的,應當宣說聖者智慧之力的語。對於那些愚癡深重的,應當宣說因聽聞而顯明的語。對於那些被貪欲所困擾的,應當宣說不淨之語。對於那些被嗔恨所困擾的,應當宣說慈愛之語。對於那些被愚癡所困擾的,應當宣說緣起之語。對於那些行為平等的眾生,應當時不時地廣泛宣說,即宣說不淨之語、慈愛之語和緣起之語。 對於那些能被隨順之語調伏的眾生,應當宣說增上戒律之語,宣說增上心之語,宣說增上慧之語。對於那些能被佛陀的教法調伏的,應當宣說隨順真諦之語,菩提分法之語。對於那些能被呵責調伏的眾生,應當轉過臉來,之後再宣說佛法之語。對於那些能被不斷開示調伏的眾生,應當恆常不斷地開示堅定不移之法。對於根器尚未成熟者,應當宣說佛法之語。對於那些能被各種語調伏的眾生,應當宣說思維言說的決定之法,以及譬喻之語。對於那些能被甚深之語調伏的眾生,應當宣說緣起之語、無眾生之語、無人我之語。對於沉溺於見解者,應當宣說空性之語。對於行於分別念者,應當宣說無相之語。對於行於願求的眾生,應當宣說無願之語。對於安住於蘊者,應當宣說如幻之法。

One should speak of the words of hell. To those beings who are attached to hearing, one should speak of the words of arising. To those beings who are attached to samadhi, one should speak of the words of entering into wisdom. To those beings who are attached to solitary places, one should speak of the words of making beings solitary. To those who are attached to the qualities of discipline and frugality, one should speak of the words of the power of noble wisdom. To those who are greatly deluded, one should speak of the words of illumination through hearing. To those who are oppressed by desire, one should speak of the words of the impure. To those who are oppressed by hatred, one should speak of the words of love. To those who are oppressed by delusion, one should speak of the words of dependent origination. To those beings who practice equality, one should speak extensively from time to time, that is, one should speak of the words of the impure, the words of love, and the words of dependent origination. To those beings who are tamed by agreeable words, one should speak of the words of higher morality, speak of the words of higher mind, and speak of the words of higher wisdom. To those who are tamed by the Buddha's teachings, one should speak of the words that accord with the truth, the words of the Dharma of the aspects of enlightenment. To those beings who are tamed by reproach, one should turn away and then speak of the words of the Dharma. To those who are tamed by constant instruction, one should constantly and continuously teach the unwavering Dharma. To those whose faculties are not yet mature, one should speak of the words of the Dharma. To those who are tamed by various words, one should teach the established Dharma of reasoned speech, and speak of the words of simile. To those beings who are tamed by profound words, one should speak of the words of dependent origination, the words of no beings, and the words of no person. To those who are immersed in views, one should speak of the words of emptiness. To those who engage in conceptualization, one should speak of the words of the signless. To those beings who engage in aspirations, one should speak of the words of no aspiration. To those who abide in the aggregates, one should speak of the Dharma of illusion.

应当讲述信解之语。对于安住于界者,应当讲述极度寂静之语。对于安住于处者,应当讲述如梦之语。对于安住于欲界者,应当讲述普遍燃烧之语。对于安住于色界者,应当讲述诸行皆苦之语。对于安住于无色界者,应当讲述诸行皆无常之语。对于以痛苦调伏者,应当讲述知晓圣者种姓之法的语言。对于以安乐调伏者,应当讲述禅定和无量之语。对于以天调伏者,应当讲述唯一安乐之语。对于以相调伏者,应当讲述无我所和无执持之语。对于以声闻调伏者,应当讲述随教和行持之语。对于以独觉调伏者,应当讲述少欲和少事之语。对于初发心的菩萨,应当讲述增上意乐和大悲心之语。对于入行菩萨,应当讲述不厌离轮回之语。对于不退转菩萨,应当讲述清净佛土之语。对于一生补处菩萨,应当讲述菩提心要庄严之语。对于诸佛所调伏的众生,应当讲述菩萨无不圆满和具有果实之语。寂静慧啊,如是菩萨以方便和智慧完全清净,并且获得对所缘的自在,即是宣说具有果实的法。善说能令一切众生皆得满足。宣说此教法时,无数众生发起了无上正等觉菩提心。五百菩萨获得了不生之法的忍。名为“所缘品”的第十五品完毕。 第十五品。所缘品。

One should speak of words of faith and understanding. To those who abide in the realms, one should speak of words of extreme solitude. To those who abide in the sense bases, one should speak of words like dreams. To those who abide in the desire realm, one should speak of words of universal burning. To those who abide in the form realm, one should speak of words that all compounded things are suffering. To those who abide in the formless realm, one should speak of words that all compounded things are impermanent. To those who are tamed by suffering, one should speak of words of knowing the Dharma of the noble lineage. To those who are tamed by bliss, one should speak of words of meditation and immeasurables. To those who are tamed by gods, one should speak of words of singular bliss. To those who are tamed by signs, one should speak of words of no mine and no grasping. To those who are tamed by hearers, one should speak of words of following the teachings and practicing them. To those who are tamed by solitary buddhas, one should speak of words of few desires and few activities. To the bodhisattva who has first generated the mind, one should speak of words of higher intention and great compassion. To the bodhisattvas who have entered into practice, one should speak of words of not being weary of samsara. To the irreversible bodhisattvas, one should speak of words of purifying the Buddha-fields. To the bodhisattvas who are bound by one lifetime, one should speak of words adorned with the essence of enlightenment. To those sentient beings who are tamed by the Buddhas, one should speak of words that the bodhisattvas are without deficiency and have fruit. O Peaceful Intelligence, thus the bodhisattva, with skillful means and wisdom completely purified, and having obtained mastery over the object of focus, is one who teaches the Dharma that has fruit. Well spoken, it satisfies all sentient beings. When this teaching was spoken, countless beings generated the mind for unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment.
