Fourteenth Chapter: The Chapter on Turning the Wheel of Dharma. Fourteenth Chapter: The Chapter on Turning the Wheel of Dharma. Shantimati, some gods and humans knew that subduing the Maras was immeasurable. Some knew that all the Maras would be subdued in the future. Some knew that the Bodhisattva was sitting on a grass mat. Some saw the Bodhisattva sitting on a lion throne adorned with precious lotuses. Some saw the Bodhisattva sitting on the ground. Some saw the Bodhisattva sitting on a lion throne in the middle of the sky. Some saw the Bodhi tree king, the Ashvattha tree. Some saw the Bodhi tree as a complete gathering. Some saw the Bodhi tree as having the nature of all precious jewels. Some gods and humans saw the Bodhi tree as tall as a tala tree, and the lion throne as half a tala tree tall. Some saw the Bodhi tree as tall as seven tala trees, and the lion throne as two and a half tala trees tall. Some saw the Bodhi tree as tall as eighty-four thousand yojanas, and the lion throne as forty-two thousand yojanas tall. Some gods and humans saw the Bodhisattva subduing the Maras. Some saw one Mara. Some saw a vast Mara. Some saw the Bodhisattva playing while destroying the Maras. Some saw the Bodhisattva abiding in the middle of the sky, sitting on a lion throne under the Bodhi tree abiding in the sky, and the Bodhisattva manifestly and completely awakening to enlightenment. Shantimati, thus the Bodhisattvas are in limitless realms, abiding in the supreme essence of enlightenment, and the distinctions of those qualities of the ocean appear immeasurably. Shantimati, the Bodhisattvas abiding in the supreme essence of enlightenment, and the countless and immeasurable Bodhisattvas who previously practiced in accordance, the endless and countless realms of the ten directions

Emerging from those places, proclaiming the sound of fearlessness, the sound of auspiciousness, the sound of happiness, the sound of universal joy, the sound of swiftness, the sound of quickness, the sound of excellence, the sound of meaningfulness, the sound of bravery, the sound of the holy person, the sound of non-retrogression, the sound of vastness, the sound of auspiciousness, the sound of non-harming, the sound of non-cowardice, the sound of past thoughts, the sound of meaningful abandonment, the sound of mental ease, the sound as hard as a vajra, the sound of the holy person playing, the sound of benefit, the sound of possessing a single instant, the sound of the wisdom of omniscience, the sound of manifest complete enlightenment. Thus, Peaceful Wisdom, the bodhisattvas dwelling in the supreme and excellent essence of enlightenment, the bodhisattvas gathered from the realms of the ten directions, offer breaths in hundreds of thousands of various ways. They make various offerings. They make various praises. This is the bodhisattva's past excellent conduct, therefore, the bodhisattvas gathered from the realms of the ten directions, when those bodhisattvas dwell in the supreme and excellent essence of enlightenment, they make offerings, but the bodhisattva has no attachment, and no anger towards the retinue of demons. Peaceful Wisdom, the bodhisattva, free from attachment and anger, with the wisdom possessing a single instant, whatever is to be known, to be seen, to be obtained, and to be manifestly completely enlightened, all of that is manifestly completely enlightened as a Buddha. Peaceful Wisdom, to the Tathagata who has attained enlightenment, the countless and immeasurable Buddhas, Bhagavat, from the ten directions, extend their right arms and ask about their well-being: Are you not weary in body? Have you attained enlightenment without displeasure? Have you naturally attained manifest complete enlightenment? Have you attained manifest complete enlightenment without obstacles? Have you attained manifest complete enlightenment with the wisdom of equality? Have you attained manifest complete enlightenment with the wisdom of Samantabhadra? Is it not an object of practice?

Is it mixed? Is it the distribution of great compassion? Is it by the intellect of the Three Jewels? Does it rule over all dharmas? Thus, it is universally asked. To this, those sentient beings whose faculties have matured know the purification. Those sentient beings whose faculties have not matured do not know the action. The Tathagata with peaceful wisdom, having attained enlightenment, without blinking his eyes for seven days, experienced the bliss of the joy of Dharma. Without blinking his eyes, he also gazed at the Bodhi tree. A thousand sons of gods also made offerings to him, praised him, and prostrated to him. Hundreds of thousands of daughters of gods also made offerings to him, praised him, and prostrated to him. Having seen the conduct of the Tathagata, they also generated the mind for unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Peaceful wisdom, after the Tathagata attained enlightenment, the four great kings, holding their alms bowls, came to the Tathagata. Who are the four? Dhritarashtra, Virudhaka, Virupaksha, and Vaishravana, these four great kings. Just as they came from these four continents, so too, from hundreds of thousands of four continents, four hundred million great kings, holding their alms bowls, came to the Tathagata. Peaceful wisdom, to this, the Tathagata accepted the four hundred million alms bowls, and having accepted them, blessed them into one alms bowl, and each great king thought: The Tathagata has accepted my alms bowl, the Tathagata will eat from my alms bowl. Thinking thus in their hearts, with that joy and supreme joy, they became irreversible from unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Peaceful wisdom, after the Tathagata attained enlightenment, the merchants Gaga and Bhadra, and also sixty thousand sons of gods, holding the Tathagata's first meal, came. They were the ones who had previously made the aspiration, saying: We will be the ones to offer the first meal to the Tathagata. They first offered the meal to the Tathagata,
