Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Manjushri spoke thus to those Bodhisattvas: "O sons of the Victorious Ones, here, what is called the Noble Truth of Suffering, even in this Saha world, is called arising. It is called harm. It is called unequal fortune. It is called the object. It is called the origin. It is called the nature of a clear tree. It is called the root of the dwelling place. It is called not being devoured by demons. It is called the covering of a sore. It is called the behavior of a child. O sons of the Victorious Ones, here, what is called the Noble Truth of Origin, even in this Saha world, is called completely connected. It is called exhaustion. It is called the relative of feeling. It is called the experiencer. It is called arising from combination. It is called determination. It is called mindful. It is called utterance. It is called pursuing after sentient beings. It is called the root of perversion. O sons of the Victorious Ones, here, what is called the Noble Truth of the Cessation of Suffering, even in this Saha world, is called entering. It is called being free from dust. It is called peaceful. It is called without characteristics. It is called not decaying. It is called without self-nature. It is called individually complete. It is called liberation into extinction. It is called becoming self-nature. It is called abiding in self-nature. O sons of the Victorious Ones, What is called the Noble Truth of the Path Leading to the Cessation of Suffering, even in this Saha world, is called the One Vehicle. It is called going to peace. It is called being free from enemies. It is called completely good at discernment. It is called extremely equal abiding. It is called casting off burdens. It is called going without going. It is called following after the Noble Ones. It is called the behavior of a sage. It is called the ten treasures. There are four hundred kotis of names, and they subdue sentient beings according to their wishes. O sons of the Victorious Ones, in this Sahā world, that which is called the noble truth of suffering, when it pervades the world, is called the root of seeking. It is called non-arising. It is called unstable root. It is called unaccomplished action. It is called all disputes. It is called weak distinction. It is called possessing the ālaya. It is called the supreme of killing. It is called moving and shaking. It is called the image of things. O sons of the Victorious Ones, that which is called the noble truth of the origin of suffering, when it pervades the world, is called suitable. It is called possessing. It is called existence. It is called fear. It is called the root of fear. It is called possessing boundaries. It is called engaging in sin. It is called desire. It is called affliction. It is called spine. O sons of the Victorious Ones, that which is called the noble truth of the cessation of suffering, when it pervades the world, is called meaning. It is called dispelling fear. It is called causing to attain qualities. It is called exhalation. It is called excellent manner. It is called taming. It is called the only limb. It is called without sin. It is called without attachment. It is called realization. O sons of the Victorious Ones, that which is called the noble truth of the path leading to the cessation of suffering, when it is endowed with pervading the world, is called the lord of the army. It is called going upwards. It is called arising. It is called possessing union. It is called equal view. It is called liberation from the extremes. It is called causing to realize. It is called following. It is called the holy eye. It is called appearing in the directions. O sons of the Victorious Ones, thus, when these and others are endowed with pervading the world, there are four hundred kotis of names of the noble truths, and they subdue sentient beings according to their wishes.
