It is nowhere to be found. Subhuti, suchness does not teach the Dharma. Subhuti, whatever Dharma is to be taught, that Dharma is also unattainable. Then, the lord of the gods, Indra, said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, the Perfection of Wisdom is profound. Blessed One, those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who aspire to fully awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment are practicing what is difficult. Why is that? Blessed One, in suchness, there is no Dharma that abides, nor is there any Dharma by which one fully awakens to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, nor is there any Dharma teacher, and so that they will not be discouraged, disheartened, or confused. Then, the venerable Subhuti said to the lord of the gods, Indra: Kausika, you say that those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who, when teaching such a profound Dharma, are not disheartened or confused, are practicing what is difficult. Kausika, when all Dharmas are empty, who would be disheartened or confused? Indra said: Whatever the noble Subhuti speaks, he speaks from the basis of emptiness, and therefore there is no obstruction. For example, if one shoots an arrow into space, there is no obstruction. Similarly, the Dharma taught by the noble Subhuti is also without obstruction. Then, the lord of the gods, Indra, said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, whatever I have spoken and taught, based on the venerable Subhuti, is it spoken as the Tathagata has spoken, or is it a Dharma speaker, or is it a prophecy made by a Dharma prophet in accordance with the Dharma? After saying this, the Blessed One said to the lord of the gods, Indra: Kausika, what you have said is so. Kausika, it is so. What has been spoken and taught in this way is spoken as the Tathagata has spoken. Dharma speaker

It is so. One prophesies by prophesying the Dharma in accordance with the Dharma. What is the reason for that? Kausika, whatever the venerable Subhuti boasts of, that, Kausika, is boasted of based on emptiness. What is the reason for that? Kausika, if the venerable Subhuti does not truly see and observe the Perfection of Wisdom, how can there be practice of the Perfection of Wisdom? If even Bodhi itself cannot be observed, what need to mention attaining complete and perfect enlightenment? If even Omniscience itself cannot be observed, how can one attain Omniscience? If even Suchness itself cannot be observed, how can one become a Tathagata? If even Non-arising itself cannot be observed, how can one directly realize Non-arising? If even a Bodhisattva itself cannot be observed, how can one attain complete and perfect enlightenment? If even Power itself cannot be observed, how can one possess power? If even Fearlessness itself cannot be observed, how can one become fearless? If even the Dharma itself cannot be observed, how can one teach the Dharma? Kausika, the venerable Subhuti abides because he abides in the emptiness of all dharmas and abides in the unobservability of all dharmas. Kausika, this abiding of the venerable Subhuti in the emptiness of all dharmas and the abiding in the absence of objects of all dharmas, Kausika, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices and abides in the Perfection of Wisdom does not even approach one part in a hundred, one part in a thousand, one part in a hundred thousand, one part in a koti, one part in a hundred kotis, one part in a thousand kotis, one part in a hundred thousand kotis. One part in a hundred thousand kotis of nayutas does not even approach. It does not even approach in number. It cannot be tolerated in counting, in examples, in differential display, in proximity, in reliance, or in cause. Kausika, this abiding of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices the Perfection of Wisdom, the Tathagata

All other abodes that are not like that are overwhelmed. Kauśika, this is called the most excellent of all those abodes, it is called sacred, it is called chief, it is called best, it is called most excellent, it is called rich, it is called supreme, it is called unsurpassed, it is called highest, it is called incomparable, it is called unequal and equal. The abode of a Bodhisattva Mahāsattva who practices and dwells in the Perfection of Wisdom overwhelms all the abodes of Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas. Kauśika, therefore, a son or daughter of good family who desires to be the most excellent of all beings, desires to be the most sacred, desires to be the chief, desires to be the best, desires to be the most excellent, desires to be the richest, desires to be the supreme, desires to be unsurpassed, desires to be the highest, desires to be incomparable, desires to be unequal and equal, should abide in this abode of a Bodhisattva Mahāsattva who practices and dwells in the Perfection of Wisdom. This is the twenty-seventh chapter called "Essence Chapter" from the Holy Perfection of Wisdom in Eight Thousand Lines.
