and between the dharmas that have occurred in the past and the present, there is nothing that has not been seen, not been heard, not directly known, or not completely known. There is also no dharma that is not completely known, and there is no behavior of sentient beings that is not completely known. World Honored One, at that time, who will hold, uphold, read, comprehend, diligently recite, explain, explain in detail, transmit, chant, and write this profound Prajnaparamita? And how do you know the behavior of those future Bodhisattvas, great Bodhisattvas who desire enlightenment, those who have excellent intentions and have initiated diligence? This is truly amazing! At that time, for the sake of these six paramitas, for the benefit of all sentient beings, they generate diligence, and among those sons and daughters of good families who seek, completely seek, and will seek, some Bodhisattvas seek and can attain this profound Prajnaparamita, some Bodhisattvas cannot attain this profound Prajnaparamita even if they seek, and some Bodhisattvas can attain it even if they do not seek. World Honored One, what is the reason for this? After they asked this, the World Honored One said to the venerable Shariputra: Shariputra, it is just like that, it is just like that. The Tathagata has nothing that has not been seen, not been heard, not directly known, or not completely known about the dharmas that have occurred in the past, future, and present. Shariputra, at that time, for this reason, some Bodhisattvas seek and follow after seeking this Prajnaparamita, but they cannot attain it even if they completely seek it. Some Bodhisattvas can attain it even if they do not seek, do not follow after seeking, and do not completely seek it. What is the reason for this? Because, these Bodhisattvas in the past life, they have sought and completely sought this Prajnaparamita with great diligence, therefore, they rely on the aspiration of the roots of virtue from the past, even if they do not seek, do not follow after

Even if not sought or thoroughly sought, it will be found. Those other sutras, namely this Perfection of Wisdom, even those who have manifestly forgotten them, will themselves draw near to them, will approach, will incline, will turn towards them. Why is that? Shariputra, it is like this: whatever Bodhisattva-Mahasattva does not abandon diligence in seeking and thoroughly seeking this Perfection of Wisdom, he will find this Perfection of Wisdom even after rebirth and in subsequent lifetimes, and other sutras associated with the Perfection of Wisdom will also draw near to him, approach, incline, and turn towards him. Thus he spoke. The venerable Shariputra said this to the Blessed One: Blessed One, do only these sutras associated with the six perfections draw near to those sons and daughters of good family, approach, and turn towards them, or not others? The Blessed One said: Shariputra, those other profound and deep sutras, however many there may be, will also draw near to those sons and daughters of good family, approach, incline, and turn towards them. Why is that? Shariputra, it is like this: whatever Bodhisattva-Mahasattva establishes beings in unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and correctly shows, correctly places, correctly exalts, correctly gladdens, and correctly distinguishes, will become a dwelling place for perfect and complete enlightenment, and will become irreversible, and will himself also learn in it. Shariputra, even after rebirth, those profound and deep sutras associated with non-objectification, associated with emptiness, and associated with the six perfections will themselves draw near, themselves approach, and themselves turn towards them. From the Holy Eight Thousand Verse Perfection of Wisdom, the chapter called "The Praise of Retention," the tenth chapter. ||
