Thus, by diligently practicing the yoga of meditation on the Perfection of Wisdom, he will think that non-human beings add splendor to his body. A son or daughter of the कौशिका (kauśika, Kaushika, Owl) lineage will also fully possess these qualities in this very life. Furthermore, कौशिका (kauśika, Kaushika, Owl), any son or daughter of good family who writes down this Perfection of Wisdom, places it in a book, and, with offerings preceding it, makes offerings, but does not hold it, does not carry it, does not read it, does not fully comprehend it, does not recite it, does not teach it, does not explain it in detail, does not impart it, does not chant it, then, कौशिका (kauśika, Kaushika, Owl), this son or daughter of good family will generate much merit. Any son or daughter of good family who has great faith in this Perfection of Wisdom, thinks about it and cherishes it, generates the mind of enlightenment with joy and devotion, and with superior intention listens, holds, carries, reads, fully comprehends, recites, teaches, explains in detail, imparts, chants, and also extensively and correctly teaches it to others, explains its meaning, reflects upon it with the mind, and thoroughly examines it here with wisdom that has been accomplished as it is, and in order that the lineage of the Buddha may not be interrupted, that the sacred Dharma may not decline, that the sacred Dharma may abide for a long time, and without deviating from the proper conduct, accomplishes benefiting the Bodhisattvas, the great beings, if this is done, it will be accomplished. In short, if it is placed in a book and held with reverence, then, offer flowers, incense, perfume, garlands, unguents, powders, clothing, umbrellas, victory banners, bells, streamers, and also garlands of lamps around it, and many kinds of offerings to that Perfection of Wisdom, and if one honors, respects, regards as a guru, remembers, offers, paints, and reveres the Perfection of Wisdom, then, कौशिका (kauśika, Kaushika, Owl), that son or daughter of good family will generate even more merit from that basis. कौशिका (kauśika, Kaushika, Owl), therefore, in this way, one possesses these special qualities in this life.

凡是想要受持的善男子或善女人，都应当对这《般若波罗蜜多》生起极大的信心，应当善加观察，应当特别地信奉，以欢喜心发起菩提心后，以增上意乐听闻，受持，读诵，通达，精勤念诵，讲说，详细讲说，传授，背诵，并且也为其他众生广为正确地讲说，阐释其义，以意随行观察，以如何成就的智慧在此完全分析。莫使佛法断绝，莫使正法隐没，为了使正法长久住世，并且不离正道，利益菩萨摩诃萨们，应当将小的经卷也包含其中，进行抄写和放置。对于那些寻求意义的善男子或善女人，也应当如实地给予。愿我与众生，以及其他善根，不离佛陀的大悲之心，因此，应当经常以天上的花朵、天上的熏香、天上的香气、天上的花鬘、天上的涂香、天上的粉末、天上的衣服、天上的伞盖、天上的幢幡、天上的铃铛、天上的彩带，以及周围天上的灯鬘等各种供品来供养，恭敬，尊重，景仰，供奉，描绘，承侍。出自《圣八千颂般若波罗蜜多》。名为《般若波罗蜜多与佛塔之恭敬所生无量功德执持品》第三品完毕。 第三品 般若波罗蜜多与佛塔之恭敬所生无量功德执持品

Any son or daughter of good family who wishes to uphold this Perfection of Wisdom should have great faith in it, examine it well, be particularly devoted to it, and after generating the mind of enlightenment with a joyful heart, listen to it with heightened intention, hold it, recite it, understand it, diligently recite it, explain it, explain it in detail, transmit it, memorize it, and also widely and correctly explain it to other beings, elucidate its meaning, and observe it with the mind. Analyze it completely here with the wisdom of how it is accomplished. May the lineage of the Buddhas not be cut off, may the sacred Dharma not be obscured, and in order to make the sacred Dharma abide for a long time, and without straying from the path, benefit the Bodhisattvas and Mahasattvas, even small scriptures should be included, copied, and placed. Those sons or daughters of good family who seek meaning should also be given it truthfully. May I and all sentient beings, and other roots of virtue, not be separated from the great compassion of the Buddha, therefore, one should always offer with heavenly flowers, heavenly incense, heavenly scents, heavenly garlands, heavenly unguents, heavenly powders, heavenly garments, heavenly parasols, heavenly banners, heavenly bells, heavenly streamers, and various offerings such as the surrounding heavenly lamp garlands, and should respect, honor, revere, worship, depict, and attend to it.
