Do not fixate on the perfection of generosity, do not fixate on the perfection of diligence, do not fixate on the perfection of meditation, do not fixate on the perfection of wisdom. Likewise, do not fixate on the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment as being emptiness of the internal, emptiness of the external, emptiness of both the internal and external, emptiness of the nature of non-things, and so forth. Likewise, do not fixate on the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment as being the four mindfulnesses, the four correct abandonments, the four legs of miraculous power, the faculties, the powers, the branches of enlightenment, and the paths. The five superknowledges, and so forth, connect them as before. It is taught: You should not fixate on the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment, the all-knowingness of a Buddha. Subhuti, a newly training Bodhisattva should thus train in the Perfection of Wisdom. From the Hundred Thousand Verse Perfection of Wisdom, the chapter called "Omens," the twenty-first chapter is complete. Twenty-first chapter, The Chapter on Omens.
