Should be truly praised, should be truly taught. If practicing in the perfection of generosity, I am the one who gives generosity. I am the one who keeps the precepts. I am the one who cultivates patience. I am the one who initiates diligence. I am the one who enters into meditation. I am the one who cultivates wisdom. I am the one who practices in inner emptiness. I am the one who practices in outer emptiness. I am the one who practices between the emptiness of the nature of non-things. I am the one who cultivates the mindfulness. Similarly, combine, I am the one who cultivates the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha. I am the one who practices in perfect enlightenment, do not think of the distinctions from such characteristics. A son or daughter of good family who practices in this way should truly rejoice in the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, should truly cause them to uphold it, should truly praise them, should truly teach them. That truly rejoicing, truly causing them to uphold it, truly praising, truly teaching, by this causing others to truly rejoice, truly causing them to uphold it, truly praising, truly teaching, then oneself will not degenerate, and will be truly upheld by the permission of the Tathagata and the praise of the Tathagata. A son or daughter of good family who acts in this way will completely abandon all extremes of attachment. Then, the Blessed One said to the venerable Subhuti: Subhuti, it is good, good that you Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas completely subdue the extremes of attachment, and that Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas also completely subdue all extremes of attachment. Subhuti, therefore, listen well and keep in mind other extremely subtle extremes of attachment, and I will speak. The venerable Subhuti replied: Venerable, I wish to hear in this way. Then, the venerable Subhuti listened to the Blessed One's teachings, and the Blessed One said to him: Subhuti, here, a son or daughter of good family,

Some have rightly entered into the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment. If one contemplates the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha as a sign, Subhuti, to whatever extent one contemplates it as a sign, to that extent there is attachment. Furthermore, Subhuti, all those roots of virtue of the Tathagatas, past, future, and present, from the time they first generated the mind until the time the sacred Dharma remains, all those are contemplated as signs, and having contemplated them as signs, they are shared with all sentient beings and dedicated to the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment. Subhuti, to whatever extent one contemplates it as a sign, to that extent there is attachment. Similarly, Subhuti, all the roots of virtue of those Hearers of the Tathagatas, and all the roots of virtue of other sentient beings, are contemplated as signs, and having shared them with all sentient beings, they are dedicated to the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment. To whatever extent sentient beings are contemplated as signs, that is not dedicating them to the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment, but to that extent there is attachment. That Why is that? Subhuti, because the roots of virtue of the Tathagata and the Sangha of Hearers of the Tathagata should not be contemplated as signs. Then, the venerable Subhuti said this to the Blessed One: Venerable Blessed One, the Perfection of Wisdom is very profound. The Blessed One said: Subhuti, because all phenomena are empty of inherent existence. Said: Venerable Blessed One, I pay homage to the Perfection of Wisdom. The Blessed One said: Subhuti, if it is not done like this and not directly perceived, then no one can fully awaken to perfect enlightenment. Said: Venerable Blessed One, all phenomena have not been fully awakened to perfect enlightenment. The Blessed One said: Subhuti, like this, the nature of phenomena is non-dual, Subhuti, the nature of phenomena is only one.

It is finished. Subhuti, the sole nature of dharma is non-nature. Subhuti, whatever is nature is true nature. Whatever is true nature is unconditioned. Subhuti, thus, if a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva knows that the non-nature of all dharmas is unconditioned, then all extremes of attachment are completely abandoned. Then, the Venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: "Venerable Blessed One, the Prajnaparamita is very difficult to realize." The Blessed One said: "Subhuti, thus, the Prajnaparamita is not seen, not heard, and not known by anyone." He said: "Venerable Blessed One, the Prajnaparamita is inconceivable." The Blessed One said: "Subhuti, thus, the Prajnaparamita is not produced by mind, not by form, not by feeling, not by perception, not by formations, and not by consciousness. Similarly, apply as before, up to the four mindfulnesses are not produced, up to the eightfold noble path is not produced. The ten powers of the Tathagata are not produced. Similarly, up to the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha are not produced. From the Hundred Thousand Prajnaparamita, the chapter called 'Purity' is the eighteenth." The eighteenth chapter, the Purity chapter.
