Second, the chapter on all dharmas. Second, the chapter on all dharmas. The Hundred Thousand Verse Prajñāpāramitā, Volume Two. Then, the Blessed One again said to the venerable Śāradvatīputra: Śāradvatīputra, what are the ten powers of the Tathāgata? Namely: The Tathāgata knows what is possible as it is, and what is impossible as it is; he knows the ripening of past, future, and present actions, and the correct reception of actions, through the door of place and the door of cause; he knows the manifold realms of the world, the diverse realms, as they are; he knows the diverse inclinations and desires of other beings and persons; he knows the superior and non-superior faculties of other beings and persons; he knows the path that leads everywhere as it is; he knows the defilement, purification, and arising of faculties, powers, limbs of enlightenment, liberation, meditation, samādhi, and samāpatti as they are; he remembers many past abodes; he knows the death and birth of beings as they are; having exhausted the defilements, he attains the undefiled, liberation of mind and liberation of wisdom, and abides having realized it with his own direct knowledge in this very life, knowing that my birth is exhausted, the Brahmacarya is established, what I had to do is done, there is no other life. Śāradvatīputra, these are the ten powers of the Tathāgata. Śāradvatīputra, what are the four fearlessnesses? Having vowed that I am a perfectly enlightened Buddha, if any śrāmaṇa, brāhmaṇa, god, demon, Brahmā, or anyone else says: In these dharmas, you have not yet realized perfect and complete enlightenment.

In this world, I do not truly see any reason for anyone to oppose me in accordance with the Dharma. Because I have not truly seen that reason, I have attained happiness, I abide and am without anxiety, and I have attained fearlessness. I vow to abide in the state of the supreme and great leader. In the assembly, I will truly roar the lion's roar. In the past, whether it was a renunciate, a Brahmin, a god, a demon, or Brahma, no one has turned the Wheel of Dharma in accordance with the Dharma, but I have turned it supremely. And if I vow, "My defilements are exhausted," and someone says, "These defilements are not exhausted," then in this world, no renunciate, Brahmin, god, demon, or Brahma can truly find a reason to oppose me in accordance with the Dharma. Because I have not truly seen that reason, I have attained happiness, I abide and am without anxiety, and I have attained fearlessness. I vow to abide in the state of the supreme and great leader. And if I vow, "Those things that I have taught as obstructions, even if practiced, will not become obstructions, for that is impossible," then in this world, no renunciate, Brahmin, god, demon, or Brahma can truly find a reason to oppose me in accordance with the Dharma.

No matter who it is, no one in the world truly sees a reason to oppose the Dharma. Because I have not truly seen that reason, I dwell in peace, attain freedom from anxiety and fear, and vow to abide in the supreme leader's position. Within the assembly, I will truly proclaim the lion's roar. The wheel of Brahma, which previously no ascetic, Brahmin, god, demon, Brahma, or anyone else had ever turned in accordance with the Dharma in the world, I will now turn excellently. These are called the four fearlessnesses. What are the four individual perfect knowledges? They are: individual perfect knowledge of meaning, individual perfect knowledge of Dharma, individual perfect knowledge of terms, and individual perfect knowledge of eloquence. These are called the four individual perfect knowledges. What is great love? It is when the Tathagata treats all sentient beings, whether enemies or friends, equally. This is called great love. What is great compassion? It is not abandoning love for sentient beings who are not sentient beings. This is called great compassion. What are the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha? They are: the Tathagata has no errors, no clamor, no forgetfulness, no different thoughts, no unequal mind, no unexamined abandonment, no decline of desire, no decline of diligence, no decline of mindfulness, no decline of samadhi, no decline of wisdom, no decline of liberation, no decline of the wisdom of liberation, all bodily actions are preceded by wisdom and follow wisdom, all verbal actions are preceded by wisdom and follow wisdom, all mental actions are preceded by wisdom and follow wisdom, the wisdom vision that is unattached and unobstructed arises in the past, the wisdom vision that is unattached and unobstructed arises in the future, and the wisdom vision that is unattached and unobstructed arises in the present.
