Having arisen from (a certain meditation), one falls into a non-attentive mind; from a non-attentive mind, one enters the fourth dhyana; having arisen from the fourth dhyana, one abides in a non-attentive mind; from a non-attentive mind, one enters the third dhyana; having arisen from the third dhyana, one abides in a non-attentive mind; from a non-attentive mind, one enters the second dhyana; having arisen from the second dhyana, one abides in a non-attentive mind; from a non-attentive mind, one enters the first dhyana; having arisen from the first dhyana, one abides in a non-attentive mind. Thus, abiding in the samadhi of sudden transcendence, one obtains the equality of all dharmas. Subhuti, in this way, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, abiding in the Prajnaparamita, is one who completely upholds the Dhyana-paramita. From the eighty-thousand verse Prajnaparamita, this is called "The Chapter on Entering Samadhi by Sudden Transcendence," the sixty-second chapter.
