Shariputra, whether the Tathagatas appear or whether the Tathagatas do not appear, suchness, unerring suchness, non-other suchness, the nature of reality, the realm of reality, the abiding nature of reality, the faultless nature of reality, this ultimate reality is abiding. Shariputra, there is no one who abides in suchness. There is no one who, abiding in suchness, becomes perfectly enlightened in unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. There is no one who, abiding in suchness, teaches the Dharma. Why is that? Thus, in suchness, whoever abides in suchness, whoever abides in suchness and becomes perfectly enlightened in unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and whoever abides in suchness and teaches the Dharma, is unattainable. Thus, suchness is also unattainable. In it, birth is also unattainable, cessation is also non-existent, abiding is also non-existent, and change is also non-existent. Therefore, since birth is unattainable in that Dharma, cessation is non-existent, abiding is non-existent, and change is non-existent, who would abide in it? Who would abide in it and become perfectly enlightened in unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment? Who would abide in it and teach the Dharma? That is without a place. Then, the Lord of the Gods, Indra, asked the Blessed One as follows: Blessed One, this Perfection of Wisdom is profound. Blessed One, those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who seek to become perfectly enlightened in unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment are practicing what is difficult. Why is that? Blessed One, in suchness, there is no one who abides, there is no one who becomes perfectly enlightened in unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and there is no one who teaches the Dharma, yet they do not become timid in it, they do not shrink back in it, and they do not become deluded in it. Then, the Venerable Shariputra said to the Lord of the Gods, Indra, as follows: Kausika.

Thus it is said: Those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who have no hesitation and no ignorance about the profound Dharmas, that is difficult to do. As it is said, Kauśika. Since all Dharmas are emptiness, who would hesitate or be ignorant about it? Having said this, the Lord of the Gods, Indra, said this to the Venerable Subhuti: Venerable Subhuti, whatever he shows, he shows it all arising from emptiness, and he has no attachment to anything. For example, an arrow shot into the sky has no attachment to anything. Similarly, the Dharma taught by the Venerable Subhuti has no attachment to anything. From the Eight Thousand Verse Prajñāpāramitā, it is called the chapter of 'No Attachment', the fifty-ninth. Fifty-ninth, The Chapter of No Attachment.
