Venerable Subhuti, what is non-mind? Subhuti said: Venerable Sariputra, non-mind is unchanging and non-conceptual. That is the suchness of all dharmas. This is called the inconceivable non-mind. Sariputra said: Venerable Subhuti, just as the mind is unchanging and non-conceptual, is form also unchanging and non-conceptual? Likewise, are feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness also unchanging and non-conceptual? Just as the mind is unchanging and non-conceptual, are the eye element, the form element, and the eye consciousness element also unchanging and non-conceptual? Likewise, are the ear element, the nose element, the tongue element, the body element, the mind element, the dharma element, and the mind consciousness element also unchanging and non-conceptual? Likewise, are the sense bases, dependent origination, the perfections, the superknowledges, the mindfulness, the right abandonments, the legs of magical power, the faculties, the powers, the branches of enlightenment, the path, the fearlessnesses, the individual correct knowledges, the strengths, the unshared qualities of the Buddha, and the unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment also unchanging and non-conceptual? Subhuti said: Venerable Sariputra, it is so.

Conduct, not enjoying the use of defilements, having the eye of direct perception for all dharmas, the body becoming directly perceived. The Blessed One has spoken of the excellence of the Hearers abiding without afflictions, and this teaching is also similar to that. Venerable Subhuti, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva should also train in the Perfection of Wisdom in this way. The non-retrogression of the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva should also be fully understood from this. Thus, it should be known that the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva is inseparable from the Perfection of Wisdom. Venerable Subhuti, if a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva wishes to train in the Hearer's ground, he should also diligently listen to this Perfection of Wisdom, hold it, remember it, recite it, understand it thoroughly, and properly apply his mind to it. If a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva wishes to train in the Pratyekabuddha ground, the Bodhisattva ground, and the Buddha ground, he should also diligently listen to this Perfection of Wisdom, hold it, remember it, recite it, understand it thoroughly, and properly apply his mind to it. Why is that? Thus, because the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas extensively teach from this Perfection of Wisdom the three vehicles of Hearers, Pratyekabuddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Buddhas, in whatever grounds they should train. The seventh chapter, called "Entering the Faultless," from the Eight Thousand Verse Perfection of Wisdom, is complete. Seventh Chapter: Entering the Faultless.
