Where is it? Is it a distinction between all-knowingness? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva does not distinguish form, does not distinguish feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness, does not distinguish the sense bases, elements, and dependent origination, does not distinguish the perfections and all emptinesses, and the thirty-seven wings of enlightenment, does not distinguish the noble truths, the meditations, the immeasurables, and the formless absorptions, the eight liberations, the nine successive abidings, the emptiness liberation gate, the signless liberation gate, the wishless liberation gate, the superknowledges, the samadhis, and the dharani gates, does not distinguish the ten powers of the Tathagata, the fearlessnesses, the separate perfect knowledges, great love, great compassion, and the unshared qualities of the Buddha, does not distinguish between all-knowingness. Why is that? Subhuti, because in this way, what is called all-knowingness is not made by anyone, not transformed, not manifested, does not come from anywhere, does not go anywhere, does not abide in a direction, does not abide in a place, does not abide anywhere, therefore no number is established for it, and its going and coming are not observed. For that which no number is established and its going and coming are not observed, no one can realize enlightenment, not by form, not by feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness, not by the sense bases, elements, and dependent origination, not by the perfection of generosity, not by the perfection of ethics, the perfection of patience, the perfection of diligence, the perfection of meditation, and the perfection of wisdom, not by inner emptiness, not by the emptiness of the nature of non-things, not by the mindfulness

It is not by these. It is not by right abandonment, not by the feet of miraculous power, not by the faculties, not by the powers, not by the limbs of enlightenment, not by the eightfold noble path. It is not by the interval of all-knowingness. Why is that? Because form itself is also all-knowingness. Feeling itself, perception itself, formation itself, and consciousness itself are also all-knowingness. Even up to the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha are all-knowingness. Why is that? It is like this: whatever is the suchness of form, and whatever is the suchness of all-knowingness, that is one suchness. Whatever is the suchness of feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness, and whatever is the suchness of all-knowingness, that is one suchness. Whatever is the suchness of the sense bases, the elements, and dependent origination, and whatever is the suchness of all-knowingness, that is one suchness. Whatever is the suchness of all the perfections, and whatever is the suchness of all emptinesses, and whatever is the suchness of the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment, and the noble truths, and the meditations, and the immeasurables, and the formless absorptions, and the eight liberations, and the nine progressive dwelling absorptions, and the doors of liberation—emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness—and the superknowledges, and the samādhis, and whatever is the suchness of the dhāraṇī doors, and whatever is the suchness of all-knowingness, that is one suchness. The ten powers of the Thus-Gone One, and the four fearlessnesses, and the four analytical knowledges, and great love and great compassion, and whatever is the suchness of the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha, and whatever is the suchness of all-knowingness, that is one suchness.
