Such is Suchness. The Tathagata, relying on this Perfection of Wisdom, attained complete and perfect enlightenment. Subhuti, therefore, this profound Perfection of Wisdom is the mother of the Tathagata, the teacher of this world. Subhuti, thus the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened Buddha, has understood the Suchness of all dharmas. He has understood the Suchness that is without error, and the Suchness that is not different. Because of this Suchness, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened Buddha, is to be known. Subhuti asked: Bhagavan, thus, the Suchness of all dharmas, the Suchness without error, and the Suchness that is not different, this is profound. Bhagavan, because of the Suchness of all dharmas, the Suchness without error, and the Suchness that is not different, the Bodhi of the Buddhas, the Bhagavats, is spoken of and mentioned. Bhagavan, who will believe in this, except for the irreversible Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas, those who possess excellent views, and the Arhats who have exhausted defilements? Bhagavan, the Tathagata, having awakened to those dharmas, speaks to sentient beings, which is extremely profound. The Bhagavan said: Subhuti, therefore, Suchness is inexhaustible. Why is it inexhaustible? Because all dharmas are inexhaustible. That Suchness, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened Buddha, having awakened to complete and perfect unsurpassed Bodhi, speaks to sentient beings, which is the Suchness of all dharmas. The Twenty-five Thousand Verse Perfection of Wisdom, Chapter Thirty-two.
