Sons of the gods, therefore, the Prajnaparamita is so profound, so exceedingly sublime, so wise and knowable by knowledge, that no one believes in it. Why is that? Because in this, no Dharma has been spoken or taught. Just as no Dharma has been spoken or taught in this, so no sentient being believes in this. Then, the venerable Sharadvatiputra said to the venerable Subhuti, "Venerable Subhuti, then, in this Prajnaparamita, are the three vehicles, the Hearer Vehicle, the Solitary Buddha Vehicle, and the Perfectly Complete Buddha Vehicle, not extensively distinguished? Are the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas not shown to be completely embraced? From the generation of the first thought to the generation of the tenth thought, the path of the Bodhisattva is like this: the perfection of generosity and the perfection of ethics."
