Do (they) know that all phenomena are empty of their own nature? Request! The Blessed Mother is so. The Blessed One said: Subhuti! If those sentient beings know that all phenomena are empty of their own nature in this way, then the Bodhisattva Mahasattva will not enter into the unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment. If (they) do not enter into the unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment, then sentient beings will also not be liberated from the three lower realms and the cycle of samsara. Subhuti! Those sentient beings do not know that all phenomena are empty of their own nature, and because they do not know, they will not be liberated from the cycle of the five realms. Therefore, when the Bodhisattva Mahasattva hears from those Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, that all phenomena are empty of their own nature, (they) enter into the unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment for the benefit of sentient beings. This Dharma does not exist in such a way that it can be clearly understood by childish ordinary people. Those people imagine that (things) exist in phenomena that are non-existent and not true, and they perceive sentient beings where there are no sentient beings, they perceive form where there is no form, they perceive feeling where there is no feeling, they perceive perception where there is no perception, they perceive formation where there is no formation, they perceive consciousness where there is no consciousness, they perceive an eye where there is no eye, they perceive an ear where there is no ear, they perceive a nose where there is no nose, they perceive a tongue where there is no tongue, they perceive a body where there is no body, they perceive a mind where there is no mind, they perceive form where there is no form, they perceive sound where there is no sound, they perceive smell where there is no smell, they perceive taste where there is no taste, they perceive touch where there is no touch, they perceive phenomena where there are no phenomena, they perceive eye consciousness where there is no eye consciousness, they perceive ear consciousness where there is no ear consciousness, they perceive nose consciousness where there is no nose consciousness, they perceive tongue consciousness where there is no tongue consciousness, they perceive body consciousness where there is no body consciousness, they perceive mind consciousness where there is no mind consciousness.
