and to those of the Bodhisattva Vehicle, I have taught the Dharma of arising and not arising. O Fortunate One, if a person, one of the Bodhisattva Vehicle, quarrels, disputes, insults, and speaks unpleasant words to another of the Bodhisattva Vehicle, and after quarreling, disputing, insulting, and speaking unpleasant words, does not turn back, but holds a grudge and harbors resentment, O Fortunate One, I do not say that this person is born. If this person does not abandon all-knowingness, he will surely experience such a great number of eons. O Fortunate One, even if a Bodhisattva Mahasattva quarrels, disputes, insults, and speaks unpleasant words, he does not hold a grudge, but from then on keeps his vows, and what I should have obtained has been wrongly obtained. I must bestow the suffering of all sentient beings, thus I speak and then regret my words. I must become a bridge for all sentient beings, thus I speak unpleasant words to others and then regret it, this is unreasonable. I should not do that, I should act like a fool and a mute. My mind should not be disturbed. These sentient beings, I must awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment, and completely liberate them from suffering. If I harbor ill will towards them, my anger towards them is unreasonable. I should not harbor ill will towards them, I should not be angry with them. O Fortunate One, I say that this Bodhisattva Mahasattva has birth. Even if the evil Mara seeks an opportunity, he will not find one. O Fortunate One, furthermore, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva should not associate with those of the Hearer Vehicle, should not live with them, should not sit with them. Even if he sits with them, he should not harbor ill will towards anyone, nor should he be angry. Why is that? Because it is unreasonable for me to harbor ill will and be angry towards these people. Why is that? Because these people are my unsurpassed

Having attained complete and perfect enlightenment, having manifestly and completely awakened to Buddhahood, and being completely liberated from all suffering, one should think in this way. The Venerable Kundaga asked: "Lord, how does a Bodhisattva Mahasattva embrace and instruct a sentient being who is a follower of the Bodhisattva Vehicle?" The Lord said: "Kundaga, just as a teacher embraces and instructs, so too should a Bodhisattva Mahasattva embrace and instruct a sentient being who is a follower of the Bodhisattva Vehicle. Why is that? This is my friend, one who is in the same boat. Just as he should train, so too should I train. He should train in the perfection of generosity, the perfection of ethics, the perfection of patience, the perfection of diligence, the perfection of meditation, and the perfection of wisdom, inner emptiness, outer emptiness, inner-outer emptiness, emptiness of emptiness, great emptiness, ultimate emptiness, conditioned emptiness, unconditioned emptiness, boundless emptiness, beginningless and endless emptiness, unabandoning emptiness, self-nature emptiness, emptiness of all dharmas, self-characteristic emptiness, unobtainable emptiness, non-nature emptiness, self-nature emptiness, emptiness of the self-nature of non-things, the four close placements of mindfulness, the four correct abandonments, the four legs of magical power, the five faculties, the five powers, the seven branches of enlightenment, the eight branches of the noble path, the four noble truths, the four meditations, the four immeasurables, the four formless absorptions, the eight liberations, the successive absorptions, the three doors of liberation—emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, the five superknowledges, all samadhis, all dharani gates, the ten powers of the Tathagata, and the four fearlessnesses.

Four, four individual correct knowledges, great love and great compassion, eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha, the nature of knowing all, the nature of knowing the aspects of the path, and the nature of knowing all aspects, I should also train in that which is to be trained. Thus, the mind is generated. Furthermore, the mind is generated in this way: This is the path that reveals perfect and complete enlightenment. If it is practiced with contamination and is separated from the intention of possessing all aspects of wisdom, then I should not train in that. If that Bodhisattva Mahasattva is not separated from the intention of possessing all aspects of wisdom, then I should also train in that way. Thus, the mind is generated, and the Bodhisattva Mahasattva who trains in this way is an equal training. From the Hundred Thousand Verses of the Perfection of Wisdom, the forty-sixth chapter. Forty-sixth, the chapter on abandoning conceptualization.
