Subhuti said: Sons of the gods, I say that nirvana is also like a dream, like an illusion.

Therefore, even if there were another dharma more excellent than nirvana, I would say that it is like a dream, like an illusion. Why is that? Sons of the gods, it is because suchness, like a dream and like an illusion, and nirvana are not two, nor can they be made into two. Then, the venerable Sharadvatiputra, the venerable great Maudgalyayana, the venerable great Kusthila, the venerable Katyayaniputra, the venerable Maitreyaputra, the venerable great Kashyapa, and thousands of Bodhisattvas said to the venerable Subhuti: Venerable Subhuti, this Prajnaparamita is so profound, so difficult to see, so difficult to realize, so peaceful, so bright, so subtle, so good, who will believe in it? Then the venerable Subhuti said to those great Shravakas and Bodhisattva Mahasattvas: Venerable ones, non-returning Bodhisattva Mahasattvas will believe in this Prajnaparamita, which is so profound, so difficult to contemplate, not an object of contemplation, so subtle, so bright, so difficult to see, so difficult to realize, so peaceful, so good, so exceedingly excellent, so skilled and to be known by wisdom. Those individuals who have seen the truth, Arhats who have exhausted the outflows, who have perfected their thoughts, or beings who have acted in the past at the Buddhas, those who have generated roots of virtue at many billions of Buddhas, and sons and daughters of good families who are completely taken by spiritual friends, will believe in this Prajnaparamita, which is so profound, so difficult to contemplate, not an object of contemplation, so subtle, so bright, so difficult to see, so difficult to realize, so peaceful, so good, so exceedingly excellent, so skilled and to be known by wisdom. They will not discriminate form as emptiness.
