After the ground was leveled, the Blessed One said: "Let those who dwell here examine individually. Those who examine individually are noisy and loud, and even if the monks try to stop them, they cannot be restrained." When the monks reported this to the Blessed One, the Blessed One said: "Examine individually with the silence of the noble ones, and do not make noise. If you make noise, it will be accompanied by faults." This is the ninth verse of the Sutra of the Four Doors of Discourse. In summary: The one who is allowed and the novice father, that which I have blessed, taking and giving taking, or thus declaring, the boundary and emptiness, the hearth and completion. The Blessed One was dwelling in the Bamboo Grove at Kalanda, in the garden of light in Rajagriha (present-day Rajgir). The Blessed One said: "Distribute the mango fruits." The monks did not know who should distribute them. The Blessed One said: "Let the one who is allowed distribute them. If there is no one who is allowed, let the novice father do it. If there is no novice father, let the monk himself wash his hands, give taking, then individually allow, and then distribute." The Blessed One said: "Let the monk himself wash his hands, give taking, then individually allow, and then distribute." Because one basket could not bear being filled with many fruits, the Blessed One said: "Let the householder also help, and let the two of them distribute together. Whatever is distributed by the householder must be given taking." Whatever is distributed by the monk does not need to be given taking. If there are other delicious mangoes, mix them together and distribute them in order. After everyone had received them, the Blessed One said: "Distribute them individually (separately)." The Blessed One said: "Distribute those delicious mangoes individually (separately)." The group of six monks went to the Garden of Delight, and they themselves took those delicious mangoes, came to the monastery, gave taking, and ate them. The monks said: "Venerable ones, if those delicious mangoes were not distributed, why did you finish them?" The guardians said: "How could those mangoes be distributed?" The group of six monks

After those people took it, they secretly received and ate it in the temple. After saying this, the monks laughed. After this happened, the monks reported to the Blessed One. The Blessed One thought: Monks, whoever takes it first and then receives it later will become an object of offense. Therefore, a monk should not receive again from what he has taken before. Thinking this, the Blessed One knew: Monks, the group of six is doing something inappropriate. Therefore, monks, do not receive again from what you have taken before. If what was taken before is received again later, it will constitute a transgression. The origin of the matter is in Shravasti. The monks pointed their fingers at flowers, fruits, food, and other food and drinks, saying, 'Give this!' 'Give these!'. When they had completely eaten and the distribution was uneven, some monks who had not detached from desire laughed. After this happened, the monks reported to the Blessed One. The Blessed One taught: Monks, laughing is not right. Therefore, a monk should not point his finger and say, 'Give this!' 'Give these!' and then eat. If a monk points his finger and says, 'Give this!' 'Give these!' and then eats, it will constitute a transgression. The reason for not having drinks is that they want it to ripen when it is cold and they want it not to ripen when it is hot. The origin of the matter is in Shravasti. When the group of six traveled around, they arrived at a temple in another mountain village. The monks there had left for daytime travel, and the temple was empty. Nanda and Upananda of the group of six thought: 'This empty and unbounded temple, how should we live here if we stay here? Define the boundary and come over.' After they said this, those people said, 'Okay, let's do it that way.' After they said this, as soon as they defined the boundary, the monks who had lived there before arrived. The group of six said to them, 'Take a rest.' Those people said, 'Venerable ones, you have come suddenly. We have lived here before, you'

Or something like, "Let's take a break." The group of six said, "Venerable ones, we have also made a boundary." They said, "We also made a boundary earlier." Those monks were doubtful, wondering whether the previous boundary was more important or the later one. The monks reported this matter to the Blessed One. The Blessed One instructed, "Monks, even if newly arrived monks see that a monastery is empty as soon as they enter, they should not make a boundary. They should rest from their journey and investigate thoroughly. If there is no one who lived there before, then they should make a boundary. Otherwise, they should not make a boundary." The story is as follows: At the gate of Jetavana in Shravasti (Śrāvastī), two householders were quarreling. At that time, a monk was present, and one of them bribed the monk to say four great evils to the other, and as a result, the other was defeated and scolded him. The monks reported this matter to the Blessed One. The Blessed One instructed, "Monks, the householder's scolding is justified. Therefore, monks should not stay in front of quarreling people, nor should they say four great evils, but should avoid and leave. If a monk stays in front of quarreling people and says four great evils, he will commit a transgression." This is the tenth verse of the Sutra of the Four Doors of the Source of Events. The Sutra of the Four Doors of the Source of Events is complete. Explanation of the Sutra of the Four Doors of the Source of Events.
