如果比丘从街道上的沙弥处接受布施而食用，会怎么样？应个别忏悔。如果从沙弥父亲处接受布施而食用，会怎么样？是恶作。如同比丘应个别忏悔一样，比丘尼、沙弥尼和沙弥父亲也都会犯恶作。总而言之：口信书信和手势，他人之语以及一个接一个，疯癫心乱和生病，耳聋愚笨和睡眠，醉酒和昏迷，入定行路为最后。 具寿邬波离向世尊提问：尊者，世尊曾说，那些比丘对比丘尼们这样说：姐妹们，比丘们，请等到用餐结束。如果有些比丘不愿对比丘尼们这样说，应个别忏悔。尊者，如果比丘通过口信告知而食用，会怎么样？是恶作。同样，通过书信、手势、他人之语，以及一个接一个地传递告知而食用，会怎么样？是恶作。尊者，如果比丘尼是疯女，那些比丘没有告知而食用，会怎么样？是恶作。同样，如果比丘尼心绪紊乱、被疾病折磨、愚笨、哑女、聋女，以及身处异地之人，没有告知而食用，全部都会犯恶作。尊者，比丘尼为比丘们准备食物时，如果比丘们在睡眠中被告知而食用，会怎么样？是恶作。同样，如果告知醉酒者、昏迷者和入定者而食用，全部都会犯恶作。总而言之：语言和身体及隐蔽处，咒语和名称及第四者，不净食物和在家者，给予学处和比丘也。 尊者，如果殊胜者以殊胜者的语言告知比丘尼，而那位比丘尼也不懂殊胜者的语言，会怎么样？是恶作。如果殊胜者以外地人的语言告知，而那位比丘尼也不懂外地人的语言，会怎么样？是恶作。

If a monk takes alms from a novice monk on the street and eats, what happens? He should confess individually. If he takes alms from a novice monk's father and eats, what happens? It is a misdeed. Just as a monk should confess individually, so too a nun, a novice nun, and a novice monk's father will all commit a misdeed. In short: messages, letters, and gestures, the words of others, and one after another, madness, mental confusion, and sickness, deafness, foolishness, and sleep, drunkenness and intoxication, absorption and walking are the last. The venerable Upali asked the Buddha, the Blessed One: Venerable, the Blessed One said to those monks to those nuns: Sisters, monks, please wait until the meal is finished. If some monks are not willing to say that to the nuns, they should confess individually. Venerable, if a monk informs by message and eats, what happens? It is a misdeed. Similarly, if he informs by letter, gesture, the words of others, and one after another, and eats, what happens? It is a misdeed. Venerable, if the nun is a madwoman, and those monks do not inform her and eat, what happens? It is a misdeed. Similarly, if the nun is mentally disturbed, afflicted by illness, foolish, a mute woman, a deaf woman, and those who are in other places, if they eat without being informed, all will commit a misdeed. Venerable, When a nun prepares food for the monks, if those monks are informed while sleeping and eat, what happens? It is a misdeed. Similarly, if they inform drunkards, intoxicated people, and those who are in absorption and eat, all will commit a misdeed. In short: language, body, and secluded places, mantras and names and the fourth, impure food and householders, giving precepts and monks too. Venerable, if a noble one informs a nun in the language of the noble ones, and that nun does not understand the language of the noble ones, what happens? It is a misdeed. If a noble one informs in the language of foreigners, and that nun does not understand the language of foreigners, what happens? It is a misdeed.

Monks, if a bhikkhu transforms himself into invisibility with a mantra or medicine, and does not inform the bhikkhuni, what happens? It is a transgression. Monks, if a bhikkhu goes without informing when a bhikkhuni is preparing, and then the gender changes and becomes a bhikkhuni, what happens? It is a transgression. Monks, if a bhikkhuni is preparing for a bhikkhu, and goes without informing, and then the gender changes and becomes a bhikkhu, what happens? It is a transgression. Monks, if a bhikkhu regards a bhikkhuni as fully ordained, but does not inform and goes, what happens? It should be confessed individually.
