The so-called "should establish the basis of learning," etc., are as previously stated. My Shravaka disciples should proclaim this Vinaya training in this way: For the sake of a Bhikshu, a householder or the wife of a householder who is not a relative, has a weaver who is not a relative weave cloth. If at that time, the Bhikshu, without having informed him beforehand, has some conceptual thought and goes to the weaver who is not a relative, saying, "Venerable weaver, please know, weave this cloth for me, venerable weaver, please weave this cloth wide, long, with dense weft, and well-woven. Venerable weaver, I will give such wages, that is, food, drink, or a little food." If he says this, and in order to complete the cloth, gives such wages, that is, food, drink, or a little food, and the cloth is completed, then it is an offense of expiation. The so-called "for the sake of a Bhikshu" refers to the son of Shakya, Nede-ga, or anyone else like that. The so-called "householder" refers to a man. The so-called "wife of a householder" refers to a woman. The so-called "not a relative" means that the maternal grandmother, maternal grandfather, and descendants within seven generations are relatives, but beyond seven generations are not relatives. The so-called "weaver" refers to the one who weaves cloth. The so-called "to a non-relative" means that the maternal grandmother, maternal grandfather, and descendants within seven generations are relatives, but beyond seven generations are not relatives. The so-called "having cloth woven" refers to any of the seven types of cloth, namely wool cloth, Shana cloth, Zarma cloth, Dugula cloth, cotton-wool cloth, Kotampa cloth, and Nioga cloth. The so-called "if at that time the Bhikshu" refers to the son of Shakya, Nede-ga. The so-called "without having informed him beforehand" means without having invited him beforehand. The so-called "having some conceptual thought" means having some thought of wanting to receive offerings. The so-called "going to the weaver who is not a relative" means going to his place. The so-called "saying, 'Venerable weaver, please know, weave this cloth for me'" means personally instructing. The so-called "wide" means broad. The so-called "long" means

The term "lingwa" means soaking in water. "Tar gyi zhagpa" means without tangled knots. "Tag ran sangwar" means weaving evenly, of good quality, and without flaws. "Zawa ang" refers to the five kinds of food. "Jawa tzammama" refers to the five kinds of medicine. "Zajay" is the raw material for food. Among them, if that bhikkhu refers to the son of the Shakya clan, Nyeda. To make clothes is to obtain clothes. If the clothes are made, it means if the clothes are obtained. The so-called "abandonment-fall" means that after abandoning that thing, one must confess the fall of the offense of falling. Therefore, it is said "abandonment-fall." So, how does one commit an offense? A bhikkhu, in order to make clothes, rises from the bed. Wears clothes and a lower skirt. Washes his hands and bowl. Goes to beg for alms. Begs for five kinds of medicine and five kinds of food. Gives to the weaver, and until he does not obtain the clothes, he will commit a misdeed. If he obtains the clothes, he will commit an abandonment-fall. If he has someone weave clothes in a certain direction and instructs them to watch over it, then there is no offense. For beginners, the insane, the mentally disturbed, and those troubled by feelings, there is no offense. The abandonment-fall of initiating weaving, the twenty-fourth, is complete. The twenty-fourth, explaining the abandonment-fall of initiating weaving.
