If these six ways of urging are very quick and spoken without hindrance, and do not give others a chance to speak, then these six ways of urging are not completely spoken. If these six ways of urging are not very quick and are spoken with hindrance, and give others a chance to speak, then these six ways of urging are completely spoken. "After that" means "after that." "If the clothes are completed" means "if obtained." "Abandonment and downfall" means that after abandoning that thing, one must confess the downfall of abandonment, therefore it is called abandonment and downfall. Thus it is said. If it is not completed, then from whatever direction the price of the clothes comes, I will go there. It means that I myself will go. Or, through a trusted messenger, meaning a co-resident or attendant. For that, that is a ritual, meaning for that, that is a conforming dharma. Then, for that, how does it become a downfall? If the donor comes to that bhikkhu and says, "Venerable, please accept these clothes," then that bhikkhu should say to the donor, "I have already abandoned these, please take them and give them to someone else." If the donor says to that bhikkhu, "Venerable, I will accept them in order to subdue his mind, please accept them," then it should be accepted. If the bhikkhu does not do it in that order and accepts even a little, then everything will become a misdeed.
