俱舍部。 俱舍部。 大国王，此外，我为了追求无上圆满正等菩提，行了布施，做了善事，请听我说。大国王，过去有一位名叫拉涅坚（国王近臣）的国王，他很有权势，是天神之王帝释天的心爱朋友，但他没有儿子，也没有女儿。他双手托着下巴，心想：我拥有这样的财富和权力，却没有儿子，也没有女儿，我死后，血脉就要断绝了。天神之王帝释天看到他闷闷不乐，就说：朋友，你为什么双手托着下巴，闷闷不乐呢？他说： कौशिका（梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思： कौशिका，kauśika，憍尸迦）啊，我拥有这样的财富和权力，却没有儿子，也没有女儿，我死后，血脉就要断绝了。他说：朋友，我给你送些药，给你的妃子们服用，这样你就会有儿子和女儿了。天神之王帝释天到香山取了药，送给国王。国王让妃子们喝下这些药。国王的一位高贵妃子正在睡觉，她们没有叫醒她，就喝了药，结果她们都怀上了。后来有一天，那位高贵妃子醒来，看到她们都怀上了，就说：你们做了什么，竟然都怀上了？她们说：天神赐给我们药，让我们喝下去。你们为什么不叫醒我就喝了？即便如此，药是从什么容器里拿来的？是从俱舍草的包裹里拿来的。那草在哪里？哦，原来在这里。她洗了俱舍草，喝了下去，结果她也怀上了。她们过了八九个月，都生下了孩子。那位高贵妃子生下了一个儿子，他有十八种恶相，长着像狮子一样的脸，拥有巨大的力量和威严。举行了他的诞生庆典。

Kuśa Section. Kuśa Section. Great King, furthermore, I gave alms and performed meritorious deeds for the sake of seeking the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. Listen to what I have done. Great King, in the past there was a king named La Nyechen (King's Close Minister) who was powerful and was a dear friend of the lord of the gods, Indra, but he had no son and no daughter. He rested his chin on his hands, thinking, "I have such wealth and power, but I have no son and no daughter. When I die, my lineage will be cut off." The lord of the gods, Indra, saw him brooding and said, "Friend, why are you resting your chin on your hands and brooding?" He said, "Kauśika, I have such wealth and power, but I have no son and no daughter. When I die, my lineage will be cut off." He said, "Friend, I will send you some medicine for your consorts to take, and then you will have sons and daughters." The lord of the gods, Indra, went to the fragrant mountain, took medicine, and sent it to the king. The king told his consorts to drink this medicine. One of the king's noble consorts was asleep, and they drank the medicine without waking her, and as a result, they all became pregnant. Later, one day, the noble consort woke up and saw that they were all pregnant, and she said, "What have you done that you have all become pregnant?" They said, "The god gave us medicine to drink." Why didn't you wake me up before drinking it? Even so, from what container did you take the medicine? It was taken from a bundle of kuśa grass. Where is that grass? Oh, it's here. She washed the kuśa grass and drank it, and as a result, she also became pregnant. After eight or nine months, they all gave birth to children. The noble consort gave birth to a son who had eighteen bad signs, a face like a lion, and possessed great power and majesty. They held his birth celebration.

Therefore, he was widely known as Kusa. The king would be happy to see his other sons, but because he (Kusa) was not good-looking, he would feel disgusted. The lords of Kham said: Wise ones, we are all oppressed by the great minister near the king, we will drive him from the throne. Having said that, they came with a fourfold army and surrounded his city. The great minister near the king dared not fight with them, so he closed the gates and peered out from the cracks in the gates. Kusa went to his mother and said: Mother, why are the gates closed? Your father dares not fight with the lords of Kham, so he has closed the gates. Mother, please allow me to fight with them, please ask the king to grant me a chariot. Son, you are neither good-looking nor pleasing to his heart, how will he give you a chariot? Mother, please go! Go and tell him to let the young Kusa fight with them, please grant a chariot. She went and said to the king: O God, the young prince says, please allow me to fight with them, please grant a chariot. The king gave him a chariot, he took two arrows, got into the chariot, and as he was about to set out, the lord of the gods, Indra, thought: These lords of Kham are powerful, and the young Kusa is a Bodhisattva of the Good Aeon, he will be afflicted. I will help him. So, he gave him a conch (དུང་།，śaṅkha，シャンカ，法螺), a wheel (འཁོར་ལོ།，cakra，チャクラ，轮), and a vajra (བེ་ཅོན།，vajra，ヴァジュラ，金刚杵), saying: These Bodhisattvas will protect you. He opened the gate and went out, and when he blew the conch, the sound of the conch frightened the army, some were deafened by the sound, and some covered their ears and ran away. When he threw the wheel or the vajra, they all fell to the ground. He went into the army and blew the conch, and the ears of all of them were pierced, and they said: This man is a Rakshasa! Having said that, they fled. He returned in triumph and went to his father, saying: O God, I have defeated all the kings.
