May all beings always see the face of that noble one who accomplishes the supreme bliss, may all beings always obtain all siddhis and be free from suffering! [·]@##. In Indian language: Tattvapradīpaṃ nāma vṛtti. In Tibetan language: The commentary called "The Lamp of Reality." Homage to glorious Vajrapani! Here, since it is desired to compose a treatise, if the subject matter, purpose, connection, and purpose of the purpose are not shown at the very beginning, then those who prioritize conceptualization will not enter. Thus, the subject matter of this treatise will not be sought as "what is it?" etc. If the subject matter etc. is shown, but the supreme is not shown, then the wise will not enter into the inferior. If the supreme is also accomplished by others, then it is not so, this treatise itself becomes unnecessary. Therefore, what is the subject matter, what is the purpose and connection, and what is the purpose of the purpose? Here, the subject matter is the complete generation stage and the complete completion stage, together with practice. The purpose is for the listener to understand the text as it is. The connection is that it cannot arise without this treatise. The purpose of the purpose is that it perfects the benefit of oneself and others. Having stated the subject matter etc. in this way, now, in order to show the homage that precedes the praise of qualities, it is said that whoever desires to obtain happiness and abandon suffering etc. That is, whoever of the Mahayana lineage desires to abandon the faults of samsara and obtain the unsurpassed bliss of nirvana, therefore, the practice like a jewel is practiced for the sake of accomplishing it without hindrance, thus showing the purpose of the purpose. The supreme of bliss is Vajrapani, the possessor of perfect qualities, so I respectfully pay homage to him. After that, in order to show the basis of what is to be composed, it is said that the supreme means of accomplishment is the lamp, that is, the means of accomplishment by bestowing the noble on sentient beings, because it is the supreme of other actions, it is called that. In order to show the prophecy of that, the secret tantras

Relying on 'Ma,' it refers to relying on tantras such as the secret of reality itself. Furthermore, 'from whence it comes' means to explain the meaning of the lineage as it is, in order. It is said thus, in order to attain the secret meaning of the Tathagatas, one should diligently practice as a means of accomplishment. In order to pacify the obstacles that interrupt it, one should first diligently prostrate to the deity one believes in. If the secret meaning of the Tathagatas were different from this, it would become limitless. It is not established that there is another, because hope is completely cut off. It is also not of an inferior lineage, because all that is needed is completely gathered within this. The secret meaning is also of two kinds, namely the path and the fruit. The path is the generation stage and the completion stage, along with conduct. The fruit is the two siddhis. As it is said: All the teachings taught by the Victorious Ones are contained within the path and the fruit. The path and the fruit are a complete summary of all that is to be expressed in the tantras, and this is because it was spoken by the Tathagatas. Again, if one asks, 'Then why is it necessary to compose this treatise?' Because it is fire. Who can say that the third good meaning is reality itself and conduct? Even if it is said, it is meaningful and has a non-contradictory adornment. Why? Because 'unclarified' means that reality itself and so on have not been clarified as they are. It has also been said thus: The fully enlightened Buddha has passed into nirvana, and the teachings are entrusted to wisdom. If that is the case, are other treatises also expounding the teachings? 'He made, not seeing made' means that even in the treatises made by other teachers, there is no complete exposition of reality itself and conduct, therefore it is not seen as made. Therefore, it is said that one rejoices in this secret that is completely endowed with reality itself and conduct, and this actually refers to rejoicing in compassion, and one calls that which has become its fruit in that way. Here, how should the practitioner be understood? View and conduct...
