May I attain the supreme, unsurpassed blue garment and all common accomplishments. The lamp that gathers all thoughts, composed by the great scholar Śrī Bhadra, is complete. [·]@##. In Indian language: Āryanīlāmbaradharanāma Tantraṭīkā. In Tibetan language: Extensive Explanation of the Tantra Called Noble One with Blue Garment. Homage to the Noble Mañjuśrīkumārabhūta. Whoever dispels the ignorance of beings, and well establishes them in happiness. Protector, abandoning all obscurations, the nature of all complete qualities, the great hero, lord of the army of the wheel. Abandoning all faults and faultlessness, greatly endowed with unsurpassed bliss, accomplishing all kinds of meanings everywhere. To the Victorious One, the Great Secret Vajradhara, and together with the Lord, I prostrate with all reverence. Whatever is not clearly explained, all beings become confused like darkness. For the sake of opening the red eye of wisdom, whatever is said by whom. Those become inferior and unclear. The lord of places such as Kapilavastu, comes from the power of that well-pleased one. To the best of my ability, wherever I am, with the strength of the army, well restrained wisdom, whatever is obtained, those are liberated. These words, such as "Thus I have heard," etc., with these words, the subject matter of this tantra, the necessity, the connection, and the necessity of the necessity are shown. Thus, for words that have nothing to say, those who send thoughts ahead will never enter, like the words of a madman. Listeners and scholars also enter such words and turn back. What is said is not just a term, but it is not in things. If what is to be said is said, but the necessity is not said, it is the same. Like the words of a foreigner, or like where there is no need for the words of others, it is shown. The necessity of what is said is to accomplish other things, but it is not for other things. It is the same for words that have no connection. For example, the sound of saying horse is like an elephant and so on. Even so, it will still change in the same way. If the necessity of the necessity is not said, it is the same. Like this, what is the use of a fruitless realization? For example, a woman relies on the limbs of a woman.

Just like someone who is attached to my body, after thorough observation, they will not enter the thought of "How can I be destroyed?" Therefore, because it is the most important element of entering, one must first explain the necessity of necessity. In order to know where it comes from, then one must explain the necessity and connection. Like this, for those who are able to seek other things to be explained, one must first explain what is to be explained. Then one must explain the necessity, etc. So, what is to be explained here? It is the path, the fruit, and what is to be abandoned. Like this, relying on the path, one obtains the fruit, therefore one will abandon the dharma that is contrary to it. If it is indeed like that, then why explain it? Because without relying on the words of sound, enlightenment will never arise. If it arises, then everything does not rely on the words of scripture, etc., if it becomes like that, it is impossible. If it exists, then does it arise relying on other causes and conditions, or does it arise without relying on other causes and conditions? If it is like the first case, then everything will arise from everything, or because in all causes, the cause has no distinct nature, it will become non-existent. If it is like the latter case, then for the unique one, because there is no ability. If even then it will change? Then, because the fruit has no incomplete limbs, if it arises at all times, it is impossible. Therefore, without the collection of scriptures, enlightenment of what is to be explained will not arise. Similarly, enlightenment is intention, and enlightenment that all scriptures are intention will not arise. Therefore, it implies that these collections of scriptures are means, and because necessity arises from means, connection is also explained. Therefore, accepting and abandoning what is indicated by the scriptures, etc., is necessity. So, what will it become? It will become that the benefit of oneself and others is fulfilled, through the stages of practice, one will first abide on the path of accumulation. Then, through the stages of the path of preparation, such as obtaining warmth, through the stages of the difference between deep and not deep. Then, because the suchness of all dharmas is manifest, one will enter the path of seeing, etc.
