As soon as this dharani called "Water" is recited, all the fierce nagas' bodies rot and become foul-smelling. Their bodies become slimy, and their flesh becomes spotted. Then, they prostrate at the feet of the Bhagavan and plead: "Bhagavan, please save us! Bhagavan, we are condemned by the world, including the gods! Bhagavan, we are doomed! Bhagavan, from now on, we will not harm the beings of Jambudvipa, we will not cause harm!" Bhagavan, when this dharani of the vajra burning tongue falling from the beak is recited, Bhagavan, all the nagas are fearful and do not approach, they do not even dare to look, let alone enter. Then, the ritual of this is spoken: By merely remembering this dharani, the bodies of all the nagas will be shattered into pieces. The bodies will become foul-smelling. Recite twenty-one times over mustard seeds and scatter them in the four directions, all the nagas will be bound. A boundary will be set within a circumference of seven yojanas. Recite the vajra one hundred and eight times, and the nagas will be repelled. By reciting it once, all wind, clouds, and hail will be repelled. Everything will disappear. By merely remembering it, all hail will instantly disappear. Even if it falls, it will immediately turn into water. When hail is falling, if the vajra is spun, the hail will dissipate in the direction it is spun, and hail will not fall in that direction. Go to a secluded place, enter into meditation, bind the vajrasana mudra, and recite this mantra thirty-two times. As soon as it is recited, all wind, clouds, and hail will disappear. All winds will be completely destroyed and will not arise again. If mustard seeds are scattered in the four directions, a boundary will be set for the herd for one year. All wind, clouds, and hail will be bound. All nagas will be controlled. Sons, grandsons, and retinues will continuously follow without interruption, and they will do all the work. The heads of all untamed dragons will burst! They will fall from the sky to the earth, and all work will be accomplished. This dharani will be unobstructed in all ways. Then, the Bhagavan said "Well done" to the great Garuda king, Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheshvara. For the sake of the great Brahma benefiting all sentient beings, for happiness, for taming the cruel and heartless nagas who harm, for punishing and disciplining with punishments, you recite this great vidya mantra, and it is good, it is good to place it in Jambudvipa! Then, the great Naga king Ocean and the great Naga king All-Around-Encirclement, and other great Naga kings with great glory and great magical powers, and other millions of untamed nagas, went to where the Bhagavan was, bowed their heads at the feet of the Bhagavan, and said to the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, we and our retinue will, in the future time, in the future era, protect all the flowers, fruits, grains, leaves, and branches of Jambudvipa. We will completely protect them. We will avert all wind, clouds, hail, frost, and heat. We will cause the rain to fall at the proper times. We will uphold the Tathagata's samaya with our own samaya yidam. We will fulfill all the hopes of all sentient beings and accomplish their wishes. We will not harm. Bhagavan, if we violate the distinctions of the qualities of the mantras and dharanis spoken above this ritual king, may we not become fully enlightened Buddhas. This is the dance: Tadyatha. On a high peak, the vidyadhara, facing east, praises with these vows and recites them seven times, mixes water and mustard seeds, and scatters them in the four directions. Immediately after scattering and remembering, the bodies of all the nagas will be cut into hundreds of pieces. They will be separated. They will be summoned, and for that reason, a continuous stream of rain will fall. The Bhagavan said: Naga King, you should do that. The Vajra Beak Ritual is complete.
