remains. Eighty-four thousand aggregates of Dharma remain. The crown and head of ninety-nine Tathagatas, as many as a hundred thousand kotis of sesame pods, also remain in the same way. Vajrapani, wherever this Dharma teaching remains, it is prophesied to be a stupa of the Tathagata. Vajrapani, this Dharma teaching is so beneficial and powerful. Vajrapani, this Dharma teaching is very beneficial. Vajrapani, this Dharma teaching perfects all auspiciousness. Then, when many retinues gathered from the Bhagavan, having heard this Dharma teaching, in all the dharmas, they were without the dust of the Dharma eye, without defilement, and then without the near afflictions. Some attained the fruit of stream-entry. Some became arhats. Some attained the fruit of self-enlightenment. Some attained the fruit of non-returning. Some attained the fruit of once-returning. Some remained on the bodhisattva ground. Some received the prophecy of enlightenment. Some were on the first ground. Some were on the second ground. Some were on the third ground. Some were on the fourth ground. Some were on the fifth ground. Some were on the sixth ground. Some were on the seventh ground. Some were on the eighth ground. Some were on the ninth ground. Some became established on the tenth ground. Some completely perfected the six perfections. That great Brahmin also attained the five superknowledges, became free from defilements, and became free from miserliness and jealousy. The great yaksha chief Vajrapani, having seen such a great miracle, became greatly amazed and astonished, and said to the Bhagavan: "Bhagavan, even by hearing the name of this Dharma teaching, one obtains such benefits and qualities, what need is there to mention those who make offerings and show great respect for it? What kind of accumulation of merit will they see?" The Bhagavan spoke.

巴，金刚手谛听。种姓之子或种姓之女，比丘或比丘尼，近事男或近事女，若向谁询问此法之类别，金刚手，彼将具足如来十万俱胝滴麻油之数九十九倍之福德蕴，及生起善根，且为彼等如来所摄受。凡读诵者，彼等亦将受持如来所说之经藏。凡执持如此法之类别者，彼等将被十方之如来十万俱胝滴麻油之数九十九倍，及每一方之如来应供正等觉佛陀所摄受，且如一日般观照。凡对此法之类别作供养，及领会，及以花、香、涂香、花鬘、衣服、幡幢、珍宝作供养之种姓之子或种姓之女，近事男或近事女，彼将对十方，及每一方之如来十万俱胝滴麻油之数九十九倍，以天物之花、香、涂香、花鬘、衣服、幡幢、珍宝作供养。每一方之如来，将生起如来供养云，由七宝所成之须弥山王般之蕴之功德。此后，天、龙、药叉、乾闼婆、天女、迦楼罗、紧那罗、大腹行、人与非人等，及彼等大群有情亦感稀有，彼此如是说：旧塔之拂尘与瓦砾堆，由如来之加持力所加持，此乃示现神变之大威力者。此后，世尊

A son or daughter of good family, a monk or nun, a male or female lay practitioner, whoever asks about this category of Dharma, Vajrapani, that person will possess a mass of merit equal to ninety-nine times a hundred thousand million drops of sesame seeds, and will generate roots of virtue, and will be embraced by those Tathagatas. Those who recite it will also hold the sutras spoken by the Tathagatas. Those who hold such a category of Dharma will be embraced by the Tathagatas of the ten directions, ninety-nine times a hundred thousand million drops of sesame seeds, and by the Tathagatas, Arhats, perfectly complete Buddhas of each direction, and will be seen as in a single day. Whoever makes offerings to this category of Dharma, and understands it, and makes offerings with flowers, incense, perfume, garlands, unguents, clothes, banners, and ornaments, whether a son or daughter of good family, a male or female lay practitioner, that person will make offerings to the Tathagatas of the ten directions, and to each direction, ninety-nine times a hundred thousand million drops of sesame seeds, with divine flowers, incense, perfume, garlands, unguents, clothes, banners, and ornaments. For each Tathagata in each direction, the merit of a cloud of Tathagata offerings, a heap as great as Mount Sumeru made of the seven precious things, will arise. The Blessed One said: "Vajrapani, this is not a pile of rags. This is a great precious stupa made of seven precious substances. Vajrapani, however, it disappears because it shows the ripening of the karmic results of sentient beings. The stupas of the essence of the relics of the Tathagatas of the Buddhas will not be destroyed or separated. How can the Vajra essence body of the Tathagata be separated? However, the ripening of the karmic results of sentient beings will cause even the light to disappear. Vajrapani, furthermore, in the future age, in the future time, the practice of all evils, the evil ones, and those who fall into hell will be very numerous. They are not Buddhas, not Dharma, do not seek the Sangha, and do not cultivate roots of virtue. Because of these causes and conditions, the sacred Dharma will disappear. Vajrapani, therefore, my two eyes are filled with tears, and all the Tathagatas also shed tears. Such categories of the sacred Dharma will disappear, except for the stupa of the Tathagata, because all the Tathagatas will bless it. Then, the great leader of the Yakshas, Vajrapani, said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, if someone writes this Dharma category and places it inside a stupa, what roots of virtue will be born?" The Blessed One said: "Vajrapani, if someone writes this Dharma category and places it inside a stupa, it will become the Vajra essence relic stupa of all the Tathagatas. It will become the stupa blessed by the secret essence of the dharanis of all the Tathagatas. It will become ninety-nine stupas like sesame seeds of the Tathagatas. It will become the crown protuberance and the eyes of all the Tathagatas.
